I have a gut feeling initial ticket sales will be UNDERWHELMING .
Time will tell , could be wrong .
Anyone from this forum definitely going ?
I can't say I'm that keen especially after the NRL allegedly changed us from playing Raiders as home team ( bonuses ) over there , to the away team to play Panthers instead .

I think the English fans will bump up the crowd massively.

Will be interesting to see the ticket prices. Might snap a couple up just in case things come together.

Was keen as mustard to be there for this but after looking at the flight prices I'd rather travel elsewhere for longer.

Just looked at this again, best mate is trying to get us over there.

Flights into LAX seems to be the go. Then hire a car for the drive to Vegas. Flights are half the price of flying into Vegas. Fiji airways seems to have the best deals or jetstar who share with Hawaiin airlies.

Anyways just thought i'd share for anyone who is keen to get over there if price is the issue.

All in all including flights, 4 nights accommodation plus the nrl game day ticket it works out to be around $2300 total. Then just need spending money and also money for transport between Los Angeles and Las Vegas each way. Could probably get a domestic flight pretty cheap.

Yeah I said that a while ago, far cheaper that way. It's not a long drive from LA to Vegas and the scenery is very different to here.

When we were there we got a flight from lax to Vegas and it was ridiculously cheap and quick. We were there in like 40 minutes. Probably different now after the pandemic in terms of cost.

Just did a quick search on Expedia - return flight starting at $280 pp. A lot of flights around the $350 mark (return)

Pretty cheap for both ways

Basically saves you $1500-$2000 on your ticket if you fly into LAX and book your own domestic flight to Vegas. I'm now seriously considering going.

Just fyi these flight prices were out of Melbourne ** keep forgetting not many of you are down this way.

I’ve got the all clear on the home front. I’m just holding off a little want to see if there are anymore packages come out from other tour groups. They may appeal to me a little more than the NRL chartered one which I thought was a bit bland. Happy for folks to post any links here for us to look over.
Happy to wrangle my own way over and sort accommodation.
