Is that enough to get a season ticket in the ET Upper?
Dino will give you 5 minutes in the corporate box

It comes close, but not quite. However, I'm generous. If you transfer it to me, I'll let you have my seat.Is that enough to get a season ticket in the ET Upper?
I'm used to working with less.Dino will give you 5 minutes in the corporate box
Only if you have a Nigerian bank account. It comes close, but not quite. However, I'm generous. If you transfer it to me, I'll let you have my seat.
Nope. Apart from the fact America is a **** place to go and the money I'd be forking out, the varicose veins in my legs would not last the 14 hour plane flight. So it's a no from me.Assuming this game is around 1-2 March..,,
From a very quick search, it looks like return flights to LA would be from about $1100 (Hawaiian) to $2500 (Qantas). Then got to get to Vegas
Somewhere mid range like the Luxor about $250 a night. Hilton at Resorts World is $500 a night.
All adds up quickly.
Is anyone here planning to go?
How did veins go watching the Sharks over the last month? Hope you wear compression leggings during the match!Nope. Apart from the fact America is a **** place to go and the money I'd be forking out, the varicose veins in my legs would not last the 14 hour plane flight. So it's a no from me.
Happy for the Sharks to go, but I'll be watching it back here in Oz on the TV.
Ha I agree about the flight, not about the destination!Nope. Apart from the fact America is a **** place to go and the money I'd be forking out, the varicose veins in my legs would not last the 14 hour plane flight. So it's a no from me.

Pretty cheap to rent a car to get from LA to Vegas, not a long drive.Assuming this game is around 1-2 March..,,

Unfortunately America has fallen off the bucket list for me and missus. I went at 17, she hasn't been, but the country just keeps getting less attractive by the year - especially when there are other destinations for cheaper.Nope. Not well, they weren't varicose 6 weeks ago.How did veins go watching the Sharks over the last month? Hope you wear compression leggings during the match!
As long as I am not 30,000 feet in the air and taking my blood thinners I'm fine no matter how we are playing. How did veins go watching the Sharks over the last month? Hope you wear compression leggings during the match!
I didn't mind it when I went as a kid in 1975 and then as an adult in 1990 but the place is so wacko now I can't find enough reasons to go. For starters, when we were talking about going to Disneyland, my young fellow said he'd rather go to the one in Tokyo or Paris rather than go to LA.Pretty cheap to rent a car to get from LA to Vegas, not a long drive.
You can get cheap accommodation there for sure, no way you need to spend hundreds a night.
Disagree with you @Sir Chadley, the US is a great place to visit.
I haven't been for 10 years now, so my memories are still fairly rosy.Just gets crazier and nastier each visit, and the $ doesn't help.
We flew from lax to Vegas and it was super cheap and quick. Vegas though I wouldn't want to spend too long there. We spent three days and that was more than enough. Can vouch for the buffet at Caesars palace though.Pretty cheap to rent a car to get from LA to Vegas, not a long drive.

Is it mainly things like crime/drugs/homelessness etc? Or the political side of things...

Once you get off the strip though it's sketchy haha nice place though.Vegas is a good stepping off point for some wonderful places around like Zion canyon. People often skip this but for mine it is better than the Grand Canyon, though if you haven't seen the GC then it is a must do.
