Who the **** gave SBW a media gig on Australian TV to begin with? And on Rugby League. He was a part-time Rugby League player who got by on physical talent (who knows how long that would have lasted had he been a full-time Rugby League player). If he does have any amazing insight into the game he is unable to articulate it. At least Gal has some hard man unpopular opinions and the credentials to back that up.listening to Gal, and sonny Bill boring as.

He's getting old, but he's still one of the greatest footy brains ever.It went downhill when Gould joined the commentary team. The bloke tries too hard to be funny and controversial for the sake of it.
Every club needs a Gus. If we could clone him so there was one for every club and another couple to be chairman and CEO…He's getting old, but he's still one of the greatest footy brains ever.

Yep. Love his podcast, hope it's back this season.Every club needs a Gus. If we could clone him so there was one for every club and another couple to be chairman and CEO…
I'd much rather Fox Sports have everything... and I'd cop them becoming a little flat. At the moment, multiple streaming platforms having multiple sports is a nightmare and just drives the cost up.For me Ch9 died when Rabs retired from fulltime broadcasting.
Wouldn't mine seeing a good online rival for Fox Sports to keep them honest. I feel they are becoming a bit flat the past few years.
Liked what I've watched of him as a player. As an administrator/ commentator, not so much. He's getting old, but he's still one of the greatest footy brains ever.

Yeah I definitely don't want multiple streaming services. A bit of competition for the main broadcast rights can't hurt though.I'd much rather Fox Sports have everything... and I'd cop them becoming a little flat. I imagine if Fox lose NRL they'll be in plenty of trouble (so they'll happily pay through the teeth and up subscription fees).
Absolutely I do not want NRL spread across multiple platforms. Movies and TV shows are one thing but I wouldn’t know where to begin pirating live sport!I'd much rather Fox Sports have everything... and I'd cop them becoming a little flat. Yep. He will do something similar with the Bulldogs as well. Not saying they will have success on the scale Penrith have but they will be a strong sustainable club with a factory line of players who play ‘Bulldog Football’.A lot of people forget the role he played in Penrith’s dynasty that we’re all currently in. He put the first pieces in place.
Ahhaharrr... me either...Absolutely I do not want NRL spread across multiple platforms. Movies and TV shows are one thing but I wouldn’t know where to begin pirating live sport!

Yep, it's terrible. Especially if you closely follow more than one sport. As a football fan in this country, I can vouch for that. In Australia you need about four different streaming services to be able to watch all the top football plus the local product.
Optus Sports: English Premier League
Stan Sports: Champions League/Europa League
Paramount plus: A-League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, FFA Cup, Asian Champions League.
BeIN Sports: La Liga, Serie A, SPL.
This is the trend sport is going in and someone has to do something about it because it will end up being a disaster for the average sports fan.

The entire model is wrong. Too many leeches between the people that film stiff and the people that screen stuff...
