So I admit I don't know precise details about our home venue situation, like when it will be ready.

But I feel like a Field of Dreams vibe, build it and the people will come.

I have said before how confidant I am in the professionalism and acumen of both the Front Office and Head Coach , but this feels big

They have this all mapped out to the finest detail , the recruitment, the pathways, the final destination

I know injuries and stuff, but what they can control they are nailing that sh*t down.

The defensive structure is starting to take shape, we knew it would take time ( I'm impatient I admit )
The improvement in Oregon is noticeable, he is making his own personal statement.

It is a cliche, family, but this Club and it's personel are committed, it is a statement on the whole organization, no matter how big or small, we are going places.

You do not have to be a math wiz to figure out that with the arrival of AFB and potential Terrell May signing , that somebody will be let go.

But those decsions, I am perfectly confidant in the Head Coach and head honchos to make.

Umm yeah OK. Iro deserves more chances but you want to keep one of the players in his way.

Connor Tracey (Bulldogs) is a player I would have kept - he's young, dynamic, can play anywhere in the backline and has a spark to his game.

The only name signing the Sharks have made is former Dragons second-rower Billy Burns, and he's probably destined to fight it out for a bench spot with Tom Hazelton and Oregon Kaufusi.

Young centre Kayal Iro has been a consistent performer in the lower grades in recent years and deserves more chances in the top grade - otherwise he will be headed for greener pastures in 2025.

Yeah - thought that was odd. Almost like two different people wrote those sections.

Also worth calling out that Fitz denied several release requests from Tracey before finally letting him go. Didn't want to let him go but in the end he did the guy a favour and let him get paid.

To be fair it's only the young bit that's entirely wrong... not bad for Buzz.

I loved that try saver Stonestreet pulled off against the Knights. Strong lad.

While he didn’t get to flash his talent it wasn’t necessarily a bad trial for him.
Did that and got bashed a few times but didn’t let that put him off.

Iro on the other hand needed to flash in that one but wasn’t able to, for that reason I’d say it was a bad trial from him.

Agree on Stonestreet.

Admittedly I didn't see the entire game, most of it though, Iro didn't really seem to get many chances to be fair.
