Summary for the graph challenged.
- Finucane was the only middle to take a run inside his own 20, and was also the busiest inside his 40. Was also the busiest defensive player.
- Rudolf the busiest middle overall in attack + defence across the whole field.
- Very different role for Hazelton. Big minutes with much lower attacking involvement than normal. Still Very good defensive involvement.
- 10 errors in their own half tells the tale in this one (they only made three across the first two games)
- Williams with a very high defensive workload on the edge. 2.5 times as busy as Wilton. Tigers went hard at the Sharks right edge defence.
- Toby got buried in possession (he was out there when his teammates had the dropsies)
- Oregon got lucky (he wasn't on the field for most of the errors).
- If/when the Toby / Dale / Royce injures are confirmed I'll start working on their averages
- During the bye week I'll do everyone else's averages across the first 4 games and also put together some team numbers to compare the games
