2024 Porter Gallen Awards Night - Thursday 3 October 2024

Anyone know when the Porter-Gallen medal night is?

It's usually pretty soon after our season finishes if I remember correctly. Any guesses on who cleans up the awards? My thoughts below. I will leave NRLW for those that watch, but I kept the template.

I moved this out to a separate thread.

Not sure of all the answers just yet, but I can see Cam McInnes featuring heavily in the Porter Gallen Medal contest.

Trindall probably would scoop all 3 awards if it wasn't for the stand-down.

Rookie of the Year, I'm not sure of our criteria with Iro debuting in 2022.. my guess is he may not be eligible, so Stonestreet (ahead of Ison).

NRLW Player of the Year I would suggest Biddle or Penitani.

Jersey Flegg, I imagine Gabrael may contend for one of the awards.

It's a shame we don't include NSW Cup in the Awards. I know Newtown would have separate awards.

Also not sure when Monty Porter night is. It was 14-Sep in 2023, and 23-Sep in 2022, both about a week after the season's end. We have the NRLW still alive though, so I imagine mid next week.

He’s the one I’ve heard who is getting promoted to our top 30 next season. Apparently is an absolute gun. Hope we’ve locked this kid up long term.

Great season by Atkinson but Member's Player of the Year is a bit unexpected.

Player of the Year nominees were Nikora, Kennedy, Ramien, Talakai, Brailey apparently (based off Instagram stories).
