Far out no excuses with that. Warriors the only tough one before our first bye. Storm, roosters, panthers, broncos all only once.

Seems like a decent mix of home games...

Home games at Pointsbet:
  • Thu 7:50pm: Dolphins
  • Fri 6pm: Bulldogs
  • Fri 8pm: Tigers
  • Sat 5:30pm: Panthers
  • Sat 7:35pm: Rabbitohs, Warriors
  • Sun 4:05pm: Cowboys, Dragons, Knights
  • Sun 6:15pm: Raiders
Other "home" games
  • Fri 6pm: Titans @ Coffs Harbour
  • Sat 5:30pm: Roosters @ Magic Round

3 Sunday arvos, and only one Thursday and that will be an interesting one being first home game against the Dolphins.

Will be nice to finally host the Panthers again

We have been kissed on the dick here. If we are anything less then top 4 (I want to say top 2) we are kidding ourselves.

All I can think about is god we are going to get some flack for this draw. What was the NRL thinking.
  • Only 5 games against last years top 4 and 9 against the top 8.
  • We play last years bottom 4 teams 8 times.
  • Only time time we are on the road two weeks in a row is Melbourne then Roosters for our home game at magic round.
  • Almost every 2nd week we are at home except Parra into Broncos.
  • The one time we take a game away we are home the week before then into a bye.
  • During origin rounds we are vs broncos who will most likely have players out as it is a 3 day rest after game 1, after our first origin bye we vs 3 lower teams that we should win against and then another bye into cowboys a week after game 3 who might have injuries being carried for their rep players.
This has got to be the easiest draw I have ever seen. Any guesses on what the photos are that Dino must have of Valandys?

NRL.com says (no doubt all the other headlines are going to say something similiar):
On paper, the Sharks have the most favourable draw in the competition

Of course, teams change from year to year, but to only play Roosters, Pennies, Broncos and Storm once is great.

Tough period from rounds 10-14, but a good draw for us, no doubt.

Fox Sports:

The Sharks have been handed the softest draw for the 2024 season, with Cronulla set to play eight games against this year’s bottom four sides while they’ll also play the fewest matches against top eight teams.

Look, they're not wrong.

****n coffs again. Blow that place up
No way. We do well there. I know it is normally against the Titans who aren't great but still.
Good to grow fans aways from Cronulla and also I know there are some people on this forum from up that way that love to be able to see their team when they normally would not.
Why would we stop going now, after we have put so much work into it growing the relationship with the area. Hopefully we can set up an academy up there. There is a large population there that currently has no pathway to NRL.

Remember South’s were not top 8 last year and we play them twice ..

Brilliant draw, we've been so lucky lately.

Bit of injury luck and we should be able to put ourselves in a good position.

Will struggle to get the family out to a game... sigh...

A run of **** teams going into the finals is just what the critics need. Still, hopefully it means we're fit (and that they stay ****).

Another year of hearing how soft our draw is.... I'm pretty tired of hearing it to be honest.
