I think this loss was needed tbh, it hopefully will be a massive wake up call

How was this needed?

We conceded 3 tries in 2 games, we put 80 minute performances on in both games.

This is a total **** the bed, believe your own hype performance. The Sharks NEEDED to stamp some authority on the comp tonight. They did not need a loss.

Sutton is a ********, Rudolph gets belted across the jaw, clearly visible, no penalty. I have no doubt if that was a Sharks player, penalty to Tigers, then Rudolph is sent for HIA by doctor because 'nothing to see here' by Butler & Sutton.
On field ref missed it. Pretty sure it has to be reportable for the bunker to rule a penalty.

I'm fine with that otherwise we go back to players staying down every set waiting for a penalty. No thanks.

I don't like the staying down either, however, with things like that when it's as clear as day the bunker should be able to say something. I'll be interested to see if the match review committee have anything to say about it.

On another note, the hold down in this game was pathetic, Tigers got away with slowing the play the ball down all game.

Exactly right. Definitely not a reportable offence. Toby trying to get the cheap penalty and got head binned for it

It's why the doctor called a HIA, because 'nothing happened', and make sure you apply the same 'reasoning' when a Sharks player belts a bloke across the chops, they get penalised, and a Sharks player gets reported.

WTF happened tonight, that was terrible by us tonight unfortunately. I love us but that may have been one of our worst performances ever unfortunately.

How was it? Thinking of seeing it tomorrow
Well mate, it was better than that **** the sharks dished up tonight. I’m so glad I missed the game, I won’t even bother watching the Kayo mini or the replay at all.

I really don’t know what to say about the result and how we played. It’s so unbelievable that we could go into a game like this thinking that it would be a walkover. You would think and hope that the coach would have drummed this into the players all week about not taking the Tigers lightly and coming out 100% in effort and execution. But no, instead, we get this **** dished up to us.

I have no idea where the sharks go from here. On tonight‘s performance the Raiders absolutely will thrash us. Thank god I won’t be seeing that game either as I’m coming back from an Easter weekend in Coffs Harbour visiting friends. I’ve given my tickets to some close friends who may not be my friends after the game is finished.

I’m off to a golf day tomorrow where the club president is a huge Tigers fan. All day I’ll be enduring all the barbs and arrows that can be slung at me.

That’ll just about do it, barring a miracle of biblical proportions. Pathetic, complacent display from a bunch of arrogant pricks. Unforgivable.

Notice a lot of the posters who were arrogantly predicting a bloodbath in our favour earlier in the thread have gone very quiet too. This game a decent reminder of what kind of club you support. Every game is a danger game, no game is a sure thing.

3-2-1’s are going to be hard work I feel.
Nah, I went out for dinner bra!
Didn’t see any of the 2nd half.
besides, I did say I’d be happy if we just score more then they do.
obviously, we couldn’t even get close

Proud of the boys' performance. Kicks on the spot. Steely defense. Ferocious tackling. Crisp passing. Great effort allround. A real joy to watch and a nice way to spend one's Saturday evening.
More of the same next week and we're good.

**** me, that was painful.

I don't know if the Tigers turned up tonight (they probably did given the scoreline), but we certainly didn't. I guess the first grade team stayed in the bus, and we send a bunch of lookalikes.
Based on this game, the Tigers might be good enough to reach the 9th spot come September. Hopefully we'll be above and this was an aberration. But there's an awful lot of work to do. The gap with say the Panthers or even (gasp) the Sea Eagles or the Cowboys right now is frightening.

Oh my. I’m glad I was watching Pantera rip up the stage instead of this nonsense.

Warning signs last week. Had our line crossed in 3 times in the first half against a **** dogs side down a man after the first minute.

Flowed into tonight. The warriors game was good, but we had a point to prove. Once that went away we have reverted back to low effort footy and it sucks. Whens AFB available?

AFB alone won't change our fortunes.

With Dale, Toby and Hunt out next week I would like to see:

Kaufusi and Hazelton starting props, Iro in centres

Bench of BHU, Talaki, Tapuha and Burns.
