Pumped for this one. Chance to prove some naysayers wrong and build the team's confidence. I think it needs to be a win, close loss is fine but we really need to be getting the win. You'd have to think the team will be gearing to rip in.

Really keen to see if we've developed that hard edge we need to have against the better teams.

All start with defence. Feels like the off season changes we made have been spot on - we seem more patient in attack, more disciplined with our handling errors and it's all coming off the back of that.

Also doesn't hurt us having our full strength pack available for consecutive weeks, pretty sure we never had it last year, or if we did it wasn't for long.

I'm yet to be convinced with our attack. I'm fascinated to see how it goes over the next month or so, doesn't help having Trindall out, though.

Errors and defence have definitely improved by a lot!

Left edge being starved of quality ball without Trindell atm

Except for letting in those tries for Ravalawa on Sunday, I thought our defence has been exceptional since the Tigers loss. Again, we haven’t had many teams really test us but I’m starting to feel confident again about our defence in the red zone.

Even if Storm are without Paps and Hughes, they still have enough in attack to trouble any side. As I said in a previous post Munster is they key. He always seems to rip us to shreds unfortunately. Would be great if we could do something similar like Wade did with Cronk. Have either Tieg or Brit to rush him and hit him hard.

Have to watch that young fullback as well if he’s fit enough to replace Paps. He is dynamite that’s for sure.

We will still need to play our power game with our back five, get Kennedy a bit more involved and have Jack and Sifa with the impact after OK and Tommy have done their work. I’m confident we can win but won’t be surprised if Storm win narrowly by getting the bounce of the ball or rub off the green. What I don’t really want to see is a Melbourne blow out score.

I loved our first 10 minutes against Canberra. I know it's not fully in our control but if we can keep the ball in play as much as possible for the first 10-15 minutes again our bench will be too much for most teams to handle.

If Hughes is out, run 30+ tackles through Munster and I think we'll win. If Hughes is in, I think we're in for a good game. I've got a feeling we're going to be up for this one in a big way. They embarrassed us last year.

I think even if Hughes is in he'll be hampered with that calf injury, well hopefully atleast as he's a decent running threat

I can't imagine you play him if he's not okay with that calf. Long season ahead. If he's in I expect him to be at his dangerous best.
