Did she try telling the security or cops or just save it for twitter knowing she'd get a few responses like that giving her an article to write?
Twitter isn't real & what goes there isn't news.
A DT opinion piece is probably barely better than twitter. As a writer for DT though I assume her job is write for DT not crowd manage Leichardt.
If people are yelling at the players loud enough they want them to hear it presumably the crowd facing security could have acted without help.
If it is dribble and bants and funny yell away.
Another Sharks fan I know also said it was awful, she has big anxiety issues so probably didn't feel comfortable going and seeking security to speak to.
Two stressful weeks in a row for her after Crichton booted a ball at her face the week before haha - different kind of anxiety that brief scare vs the Tigers crowd stressing her out.
Not end of the world stuff but if familes, older people, women, aren't comfortable at footy games it doesn't do the NRL any favours.
Sounds like security need to turn their hearing aids up and put their glasses on and not expect everyone at a small ground to do their job for them.
At Optus there is a text line you can report crowd issues. I know someone who works it, they had a woman use it to report her husband for not buying her chicken nuggets recently, so at least the NRL crowds aren't that bad.
