QRL has introduced green socks for refs under 18 - as a visual cue for spectators to hopefully remember that it's a child out there.

“If their socks are green, they are under 18”.

Not his go! I hate when people come out and say this ****.

“I am surprised [that he was accused of something like that],” Cleary said. “I would say it’s out of character. It’s going through the channels with the NRL now so everything is being investigated. We’ll see where it leads, but I would say it’s out of character.”

Seems like being a dick is very much his go though?

I saw basketball have adopted this, green whistles for U18s
Should get at least some people to pull their head in a bit. The worst people probably won't change much.

What colour socks are they introducing for 'junior referees' who are actually adult police officers?

No socks colour , but can wear their Police Belt with Capsicum Spray, Tasor and Pistol if they choose.
No game or spectator should ever get out of order .

The World Club Challenge could go to Vegas
Yeah I've seen/heard that a few place. Would be a good option to consider, although timing gets a bit funky - what is the second game, just 1 single round 1 game?

Personally I have zero interest in the concept but the yanks might like it, maybe they'd find it interesting having two countries involved.

WCC on the Friday night (Saturday for us) then 2x Round 1 games on the Saturday.

Or could do a double header weekend 2x Round 1 NRL Saturday then WCC & 1x Round 1 Super league game Sunday. Wouldn't matter if WCC is on a Monday for us I don't think. Not sure on time difference for UK watchers for super league round 1 but they get the short end of the stick as it is on TV over there.

Dunno if three games would be too much at this early stage. I think I'd be sticking to a double header.

I wonder what the NRL has planned for the US between now and 12 months time?

Is a double header every 12 months enough to sustain interest?

No idea what the answer is btw.

Gotta say that Storm pack is the most uninspiring they've had for a very long time.

Yeah the intimidation certainly isn't there anymore. Once Nas comes back it will help somewhat but they really need one of these young backrowers in Chan or Howarth to hit there straps.
