I saw a replay of this on Instagram with no sound.
At first I thought they were sending the Rooster's player off for the softest swinging arm in history

Just saw our girls entering the ground signing autographs for everyone, sunnies on, being treated like rock stars. I just hope it doesn't go to their head like it sometimes does to our boys, as they haven't even played a game yet. Do it on the field first. Stay humble.

That's one way to look at it.
The other is that for many of them this is the first chance they've had to play that isn't as a park footy hobby. Soak it in and enjoy the attention, love and enthusiasm of the crowds as you pioneer a new profession.

Yeah I get that they're excited, first game and all, also great for all the young girls getting autographs etc. Let's hope they can also go out and play well too.
