When is the crowd ever loud at Shark Park.
Its like a morgue most weeks

Yeah I find most weeks it is more of a social event, you can just hear the constant hum around the ground.

But when it's diehard fans only, I find it's often louder, particularly booing the referee.

It also depends on the contest. If it's a close game against a good opponent, the crowds usually in the game. If it's not close, or sharks are pulling a classic "they surely can't lose from here" moment, then it's much quieter.

I thought the final against the cows last year was great in the crowd. Usually good when we play Melbourne too.

I agree with SF that there is a large portion of the crowd there in a social capacity. Also the structure of the ground doesn't do anything to support crowd noise. Open air, spread out and **** vantage points in many of the corners don't help.

It would be nice if it was louder more frequently.
