Last year I wanted Talakai to move to the middle. This year I think they’ve figured it out. He comes into the middle for very effective carry’s and then buggers off. It’s working so far. I like him at centre.

I’m not sure if we saw it in the roosters game but I’d like to see a stint of McInnes/Kaufasi/Williams in the middle with Talakai coming in for carry’s too. Four low to the ground, fast, powerful players. I think it could be effective.

I reckon Fitz might agree. That was the combo in round 1, but Jack got HIA. There hasn’t been a game since where that rotation would have worked. Either Kaufusi or Williams have been injured, or someone else has been HIA’d early on and it has messed with the rotation.

So let's say Talakai never moved to centre last year, who do we think would be playing there now? Tracey?

Tracey for sure you'd think.

How many times has that bloke been stiffed for a starting spot here? Must think his locker has been built on an Indian burial ground 🤣

Didn't Ronnie start the year? Or play one or two games there? Possibly him

It was :
Ronnie rnd 1 with Ika on the wing.
Tracey rnds 2 and 3
Sifa from rnd 4 onwards
Then basically settle into our current back 5 barring suspensions and injuries throughout the season

I remember that game for Ronnie... was a bit Talakai in origin'esque.
A shame really, as I think he'd be able to make it work given a bit of time

I’d use Ronnie if we had some injuries at Centre

If a backrower, then and only then would I consider Sifa for cover (we don’t have a lot of backrow depth) with Ronnie into centre and Sam or Iro to wing

If Sifa or Ramien, then same, Ronnie into Centre and Sam or Iro onto wing.

TBH, I love Tracey’s heart, guts and determination but I’m just not sold on him being in 1sts

What will actually happen………… on both scenarios is Tracey comes in to Centre is my guess

It has to be Burns centre and Skelton wing on the right side, surely....
