I predict 6 tries down our left side... with To'o running for 300 meters.

If we're within 12 points with 20 to go, I'll be (almost) as happy as if we'd won the Grand Final.

Edit: and Toby & Oregon won't make more than 100 meters combined.

I wonder if the panthers could rack up a bigger score than the Aussie cricket team? I think they will go close! They Should win this comfortably by 60-70 and that’s not even a joke.

I think I’d rather watch the homeless guy on the streets toenails grow then watch us get destroyed by this mob. 🤣

Can we go back to when we were playing the **** teams and putting on a score? I know it really means nothing but was entertaining to watch at least

They might actually have to go with Slater's idea of **** the defence just try to score points, cause there's no way in hell they're keeping Penrith from scoring the way they've been going. Expecting Penrith to score 40+ purely down the left edge. Would be nice if the Sharks proved me wrong though.

We have a Japanese exchange student arriving on Saturday for two weeks.

Can’t think of a better way of showing our hospitality than having him sit through Saturday nights game!

Of all the things we lack in a first grade side, I would say our line speed in defence is the most worrying. It is pretty much non-existent. You can see it compared to other sides. I don't know what the reason is. Is it pure laziness, or is it the way they are coached? Either way it is alarming.

I just can't imagine Fitz going out there and saying, "Don't worry about your line speed in defence boys, let them come to you." Just cannot imagine him saying that, no matter what you think of him and his coaching methods.

I'd be happier if we could just improve on that at least by 50%. The other areas we lack I could handle - if we were much quicker, stronger and hard nosed with our defence, we'd be in many more games.

It has me absolutely bamboozled why our line speed is the way it is.

This Saturday night against the Panthers will definitely be 50+ if it is the same as before.

Poor line speed is the symptom. Not the disease.

It all starts at the ruck. Win the tackle + slow down the ruck = good line speed.

Sharks need to sort out their ruck defence. It's been sloppy.
