Its a positive in more ways than 1.

1. A few plays looking at a stint in reggies are going to either play into form or at least wake up a bit (if not they will find it hard to come back)
2. The players not cut will see who is boss and know their position is never concrete in the team.
3. Fitz now has a little power over hos squad which all coaches need. He is their coach, not just a mate. Hes making some hard calls for the betterment of the team.

Whether or not results change is kind of irrelevant, this shows a coach willing to try different things than flog a dead horse. This may be a turning point in the careers of many lf these players who by the looks of them (im looking at you ronnie) have grown compacent

Asking for a friend... what do we do when we towel up Manly and Fitz looks like a genius only to have Penrith put 50 on us next week?

beat manly first, then beat your meat, then beat yourself up for buying into these frauds
Man there will really be a few people who do some damage to themselves if Trindall/Sharks play well. Manly not even a top 8 team and with no Tom I'd hope even Moylan could beat them.

Meanwhile the Moylan lovers will be in absolute shambles.
I, for example, who has said things like 'that was actually Wiltons fault before Moylan missed the tackle', or 'his attacking kicks have been good', or 'I would like to see Trindall given a go' will clearly be devastated by any success the team sees.

With Moylan and Talakai and teig out left edge fixed
That'd be nice. Middle and right edge weren't great either but even getting left to their level is an improvement.
Hoping the long kicking can give just enough extra field position the forwards and backs taking runs from slightly better positions helps give us a touch more momentum in the middle too.
And, you know, hope we then hold the ball and don't give up dumb penalties...

But will be interesting to see how a JC, Trindall, Tracey, Ronnie edge goes.
