I noticed that too. Maybe that is to prep him for things to come. Gotta hope Toby takes Grahams spot when fit.
When fit, Toby is our 8. It will be Kafusi on the bench.

And I have this horrible feeling that when Toby does come back, Wade will still be selected and Tommy or Jack will get the chop.

Assuming something like move Toby to 17 for 2-4 weeks until he finds his feet back in NRL then swap him back into the start for Kaufusi.

Wade definitely offers greater utility value that Tommy or Jack but as a middle they have both been far outplaying him and I'd rather keep using them. Utility cover is nice (when needed) but both playing too well to leave out IMO

Anyone gonna flip out this week cause there’s no mass changes? Or was that just for the Bulldogs game?

I've given up, if Fitz thinks the team is a premiership threat then that's it.

He's the coach at the end of the day, he chooses the squad, it's all on him.

No point flipping out if the coach still picks the same team he loves so much

He’ll just look like an idiot again the next time we come up against a proper team

These are also the games rookies should be getting runs on the board to keep them hungry/motivated and we get to see where they are at

i fully get behind this

there is more benefit having jesse c on the bench rather than wade in this game, and even iro or stonestreet on a wing for katoa

Bulldogs, Dragons and Tigers. Would've been great games to see Trindall and Coulqhoun get a chance.

But, whatever.

Don't understand why our coach doesn't see this.

Question: Do you think that having Trindall in for Moylan, Stonestreet or Iro in for Katoa and Jesse C in for Wade will suddenly make us capable of beating the top teams?

We haven't won the game yet, coach is always going to pick what he feels is his strongest 17 and might use these easier games as a chance to sort out some issues (hasn't really worked yet) and rebuild some confidence

One of these days we are going to drop one of these types of games like we used to and the meltdown is going to be next level.

Dragons are more unpredictable (results wise) with their former coach gone and Flanno getting involved and we are hardly safe in the top 8

Doesn't mean I agree with all his selections though or that there isn't a case to make a few changes to the squad but I get it. He isn't gunna bring in players from lower grades just to get them experience (even though this can pay off in the future)

I am concerned that all our byes are done and dusted - so any regular 17 player that needed a rest and freshen up has already had it now. No more breaks until the post season (unless we win a finals week 1 top 4 playoff....)

Yeah but maybe someone else you heard was going okay in Cup would play even better
I guess great players get to a point where other players can't stand in their way.

Is this Stonestreet at the moment? Hope so.
