I didn’t get to watch the game until much later today. Comfortable win in the end.

Not sure where all the comments about us playing **** came from in the first half, just the usual emotional few who can’t seem to keep a lid on their frustrations. Even though we dropped some ball, you could see the Knights didn’t have much so I wasn’t worried in the slightest about the result. We were always in control.

Just so you are sure, it was the continuous dropping the ball the emotional few didn’t like

Yeah but doesn’t make it not stressful at 12-6 though
It is what it is mate. If people are getting stressed about a football game, then they need to calm down a bit. There are more important things in life.

Yes, I want us to win but it’s not the end of the world. I’m certainly not going to get stressed about it.

Ha ha. Like you've never gotten stressed over insignificant things.

Can someone check the ladder for me? Are we equal 1st? Not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me.

That’s in the past mate, not any more.

How much chamomile have you consumed tonight, sir?

The opening try was a thing of beauty. Classic 'poetry in motion' stuff.
Handling errors aplenty once again, but got away with it because, well, Newcastle. A professional performance away from home.
I know that being 12-feet tall doesn't help, but is there a more uncoordinated-looking runner of the ball than Hazelton?

As for Miller, once one gets past his dancing feet, what's left is rocks, way more than diamonds.

Ladder is a bit of a mirage , Souths & Broncos haven't had a bye yet & we will get two byes before they get one .

Yeah great win, got the two points. very happy to get a win before a bye (unlike warriors week)
the reality is playing a stronger team, our errors would have made the end result a lot different. good teams like penrith, souths, Brisbane, storm, and west tigers will capitalise and make you pay big time.
Newcastle had little in attack - even at times they were frustrated at each other; some of their players were pedestrian.

16 errors and 5 penalties
newy just weren't a threat - Penrith would be on the other hand....
