Hopefully the NRL sees this and sanctions him.

Looks like Hiroti 2.0 is in the works.

Would love to spend the night with two hookers.

They prob just wanted a way out of the All stars game

I don't get it - I thought JAC was passionate about representing his indigenous culture and community? Fair enough if his body is truly not ready for a match just yet though

It easy to not get arrested in Canberra, just tell out 'diplomatic immunity!' in a Seth efrikan accent

You do remember what happens when Danny Glover revokes that immunity right?

Filthy Eagles having an old Boys 50th Reunion of the 78 GF win, in May when we play em. Big presentation prior and walk from the Leagues Club. Geez i hope we spoil the Brookie Party.

I think we do pretty well against teams having an old boys day. I recall giving Newcastle & Tigers some wallops on these sort of fixtures. Heck I think the drubbing we gave Eagles at brookie last year was an old boys day or was it just Forans farewell, **** it I dunno we belted em anyway

I reckon these old blokes just make the current players as nervous as much as they inspire them
'
I spewed in my mouth a little the first time I saw Flanno in his Manly shirt.

Well whatever Flanno did at St George, it didn't work too well so I am all for it

I wonder what club is on his **** list next? I hope its the cowboys or raiders but I'm not convinced he isn't just in these clubs dunnies clogging pipes and chipping tiles to secure future work orders for his trade business

That’s during pre season training so im
Assuming it’s a broncos or dolphins player as they’re closest to fortitude valley. Or it could even be a titans player.

If this charge is true then this bloke needs to be put in prison and completely banned for life from
The nrl.

Well according to the article this occurred on the 14th Jan. The broncos player who I thought it was had his incident happen on the 21st Jan. so really not sure. Have they got 1 or 2 players stood down atm?

Nice to have you back Gumby ;)

14th Jan was the charge. 11 December was the offence.

Here is the article from Billings. It says the player maintains his innocence, but is currently stood down and will be sacked by the club regardless because he has had several other off field incidents.

A high-profile NRL player charged with rape has had his case mentioned in a Brisbane court.
The player, who was previously stood down by his club, was charged on January 14 with one count of rape.

According to court documents, police allege the man, who cannot be identified at this stage of proceedings, raped a woman at the Prince Consort on Wickham St, Fortitude Valley, on December 11.

His matter was first mentioned in Brisbane Magistrate’s Court today.

The man was not present however a lawyer appearing on his behalf asked for an adjournment.

Magistrate Julian Noud adjourned the matter to March 6 and the accused remains on bail.

The NRL integrity unit has been notified of the matter by the player’s club.

The player in question will be sacked by his club after being involved in some previous off-field incidents.

The player alleges he met a woman at a Brisbane pub before Christmas. The NRL star told his club that he accompanied the woman to a toilet cubicle where she performed oral sex on him.

The player maintains the incident was consensual. He has co-operated fully with a police investigation and has not amended his version of events.

The NRL player has been stood down and it is understood the parties are in the process of dismissal following a number of breaches of the club’s code of conduct

"High Profile" would be a stretch for that guy, but it is journos trying to get clicks - so probably.

I think we all ignore the "NRL star" or "high profile" because if they actually were their name would be out long before court docs

Yeah anyone gets the default of being a star or high profile. In saying that he's played professional sport broadcast across the country 17 times and we all know him by name so he may not be a star of the NRL but it's not that outlandish to say he has a high profile.

Higher now.

Soon to fade away.

Yeah fair call. Us footy heads knowing him isn’t really much of an indicator though. It’s still annoying. I reckon “high profile” or “NRL star” should be reserved for someone my wife could name.

It’s actually completely unnecessary other than as a hook. “NRL player” is enough information.

Was on the TV news last night in Brisbane. The player's lawyer fronted court for a hearing. No player and no name.
