I’m dropping Tricky and Williams for Finucane and 1 of Hazelton, JC, Tracey ( no idea if he is due back )
I’d even go so far as to rest Tolman or say Wades pulled up stiff.
We need another Prop who can play decent quality minutes and have some impact at the moment we have Rudolph and Finucane that’s it, the rest of the squad all play low min high impact or low impact more minutes style props and we cant run a team with 3-4 of those in it 1-2 yes to fill rolls but it’s currently unbalanced.
BHU is the perfect blend of those types when he's firing. Which I hope he is well before the finals.

Finucane back in helps a lot. Hunt played 30 which is not crazy low minutes.
If anything it was Wade playing 20 something (combined with Tricky) dicking it around.

I personally have no evidence Hazelton or Calquhoun provide high impact high minutes above what I could get from Williams.
Also hard for me to suggest resting Tolman for them given his good work and I don't know he needs a rest.

Wade is another story, but needs to be considered a bit differently also. If that performance and 20 minutes is what he has for us this year he can't hold the jersey. I do like the idea of saying he has pulled up stiff

*Fitz reading out team list* "Unfortunately no Wade this week, he's pulled up stiff
*Wade sitting waiting to be named* "huh!?"

I watched some of his game on the weekend... beware the inside ball back to the Prop more like it!
Yeah I'm not worried about him at all.
Yeah that cutout pass into the 3rd row of seats is deadly.
Saw all that on the weekend - sadly he is not the player he used to be. Can't really see him carving us up.
And he won't kick match winning field goals if we make sure it doesn't get anywhere near golden point.

If we play like we did against Dragons, Parra, Knights, Melb / Manly (first half) we win comfortably.

Play like we did against Broncos or 2nd half Manly and it's 50/50 phone a friend.

I don't love that that's our last 120 mins of football

Can't wait for this one, Mother's Day, sunny Sunday arvo predicted, I imagine it will sell out a few days in advance. Let's hope the team can live up to expectations.

Would like to see Finucane @ prop & McInnis at lock.
Allows us to stack a bench with Tolman, Wade, Williams & Hunt

I don't know. I really like McInnes coming off the bench. Probably don't have a choice at the moment though.

Hunt's been impressive the last couple of weeks. I don't mind him and Rudolph in the front row, Finucane at lock.

McInnes ain’t doing it for me when he starts, he was mad off the bench.. it’s like a Finucane coming on when the other team is tired, it’d be a nightmare to defend him constantly coming at you with energy

I get what your saying because of the energy he injects into a game.
But i just feel thst with Wade on the pine, plus Willliams- adding Cam there dilutes potential bench size
Be interesting to see how both he and Finucane started together.

I think when McInnes comes on he only pushes Finucane to prop anyways.

It’s just a way of having someone like a big Hunt/Uele starting and going hard for 20 mins then bringing on a fresh McInnes to the middle. Then when Finucane has his rest we still have McInnes on to keep the middle tight.

Whilst I agree Royce needs to target Reece, I also think Jessie needs to outplay Jesse and Wade needs to put pressure on Wayde.

Also, in my opinion Katoa can literally run rings around Katoa.
Well done 👍 🤣

How well Jack plays has the potential to really impact the outcome
