On first impressions, should be an easy win for us.

But the Tigers have been having a go recently and we are looking a bit threadbare with key players out and others in doubt.

So is it a win by 50 or will be another error-riddled, mistake-filled, frustrating-as-hell, nail-biting 1-6 point win.

No matter how bad we play, I can't imagine us losing.

I think we will win but I want to watch the game and the team with pure joy and win.

Not by being on the verge of a heart attack and needing a shower after the game.

Surprisingly the Storm game was like that (joyful). Hope the boys bring it on. Dale being back gives me confidence.

We could see
1. Dykes
2. Mulitalo
3. Hiroti/Miller/Iro
4. Ramien
5. Ikuvalu
6. Trindall
7. Hynes
8. Rudolf
9. Brailey
10. BHU
11. Nikora
12. Graham
13. Finucane

14. McInnes
15. Tolman
16. Wilton
17. Fifita

Missing top 17 players Kennedy, Moylan, Katoa, Talakai, Hunt, Tracey, Williams
Although four of them are potentials to play, Talakai or Tracey would slot straight back into their jerseys. Hunt might bump Tolman out, Moylan would probably bump Trindall to bench over Tolman.

100% no way in hell we should win by less than 30 or 40.

Tigers can turn up every now and then and make things competitive (although no Hastings has burned them big time) and seeing as we’re Cronulla, naturally we go into games when we’re the heavy favourites a bit flat and complacent. I mean, its a club tradition. So there’s a good chance this might actually be close. Going to go with 26-16 to us.

When was the last time we went into a game heavily favourites and dominated for the full 80?

I would rest Moyza another week and give Trindall some more game time leading into finals.

Worth mentioning Tricky born in Wee Waa and his mob come from there so he will be up for this game.

If Sifa’s 20 hard hit ups need replacing then this is not a bad option ..
Could be Sifa and Tracey's meters that need replacing.
Against Rabbitohs those two combined made 25% of our teams meters - an element of that being the Rabbitohs have a really strong forward pack but still, very impressive.

Ronnie can make good meters though, if Tracey out good chance Ikuvalu comes in and he can too, so I don't think we'd need to worry about meters as much from centre.
Could be a way to keep both Wilton and Tolman in team if Moylan pushes Trindall back to bench though, or Hunt returns.

I would rest Moyza another with and give Trindall some more game time leading into finals.

Not worth any risk with Moyza and as you say an extra game starting can't hurt if Trindall is needed later on.
Good point about connection too.

it'll be drawn at full time with Wade pulling out a successful captains challenge, allowing us to slot over a two pointer for the win.

Wade and successful captain's challenge don't belong in the same sentence

Makes me wonder if a Captain can develop such a terrible reputation with their challenges that it negatively influences the bunker's decisions.

You'd hope not as they officiate all different games including as on-field refs.
I'd be more worried about a perception of bad handling influencing on-field and bunker decisions. ie Sharks always knock on so it was probably a knock on

But we are making up near 20 errors a game at the moment, Captains Challenge is just something we get wrong once 3 out of every 4 weeks.
