He also did things with the ball Chad has been unable to do his entire career.
I agree. Looked fantastic with ball in hand, but made a lot of mistake and still has a lot of work to do in defence.

Still has a lot if improvement for a 7 but that is a good thing considering what he is bringing to the team already

Definitely still has a lot to work on. Not saying you’re not already, however I think the early signs two games in for his first full stint as a half are extremely positive.

Love how he just runs right angles across the defensive line trying to bait someone to try put a shot in him. Lots to like

I’m sure a lot of us forgive Hynes for his mistakes because 80% of the time he’s doing all of the work, the guy isn’t super man. It would be great if he had a decent halves partner to take pressure off him for longer then a minute during the game like Moylan does when he decides to wake up

I had to watch the game on delay. So proud of the boys.

Clunky at times but we outplayed one of the premiership favourites.

Team is good enough to go the whole way if we manage to click by the pointy end of the season.

That final conversion attempt thou still didn’t seem confident.
Hope we can score some tries a bit closer to the posts next week and give Nicho a bit of confidence before having to keep nailing conversions from the sideline.

How silky are Kennedy's hands. Never seen a player that has the ball on a string and can time a pass like him.

Its hard to tell so early on but there is some good signs.
Last week came down to the 80th minute, and while it’s a good position to be in and talk about those good signs, you need to win them if you’re going to be a contender, so to come back after last week and be in the same position, and WIN, was reassuring for myself and the teams confidence and resolve.

The 2016 side all turned up for each other and trusted each other and got the job done. There was a feeling watching that team, you just knew something special was happening.

I hope these boys can do something similar in the next year or two.

I don’t think Nikora helped (lazy inside d) when Nicho missed that tackle for the try.
Definitely stil a work in progress.
Yep. Agreed on both counts.

Yep. Game #2. Lots of mistakes, but a lot to like.

I think it’s fair to forgive the mistakes given it’s early season and combinations are still forming.

As far as a halves partner goes, I think we all agree that it is a “lesser of two evils” choice. Both those other guys have warts.
