Glad hunt Is starting. Hope it stays that way.
I haven't graphed the forward output for a while, but Hunt last week would be an interesting one. Seemed to get thrown the ball over and over attacking the try line for am hit ups. Might skew his output a little.

I like the side as Hynes is back at 7 and I don't mind Miller at 1 for one week.

But I'd have Hazelton on the bench for Trindall and I'd swap Tieg and Wade.

I know Tieg is young but when you have a young guy being spoken about as an Origin bolter, bench is not his spot.

If you have to have Wade in the starting 13 then put him in number 13. Have McInnes on the bench.

Could still start that way of course but we'll have to wait until 3pm on Sunday.
Thanks Chad.

I read the team and had the same changes in my head as your first three lines - saved me typing!

Great to see Fitzy quickly revert back to Nicho at 7 & Moylan at 6…..the planets have re-aligned.

Wingers look after the new boy Miller at the back - she‘l be apples….

Im looking forward to watching Miller go around and see how he goes but I’m surprised Metcalf didnt get the nod. Is it fair to say he’s been completely frozen out because he’s leaving or no? If he has been thats just petty.

I feel bad for Teig, he definitely doesnt deserve to lose his spot to Wade, as much as I like him.
Fitz said Metcalf hasn’t played or trained at fullback at all, so that could be a factor in him not being selected to play fullback.

Not being here next year would be a good tie breaker but I don’t think Fitz should be picking a worse player just to spite someone at this stage.

Thats a more logical explanation yeah.

I don't understand having Trindall on the bench. He looks like he needs game time at halfback in reserves. Playing 5 minutes in first grade does nothing for his development, match fitness and doesn't help the team either

Wouldn't surprise me if Graham, McInnes and Teig swap positions prior to kick off

hasn't Fitz said previously that Metcalf has not trained with the squad most of the year?
I thought he said he hadn’t trained at fullback.
Not necessarily, not with the squad.
but I could be wrong

I’d rather just Wade and Teig TBH

I can confirm that Fitz said Metcalf hasn't trained at fullback this season

But Fitz also said that Trindall has earned his spot so umm yea something seems a bit off to me because whatever Trindalls spot is I don't think he has earned it off the back of 1 solidish performance on the weekend.

I'm not sure if I buy the whole hasn't trained at fullback angle (where the **** has he been training at then? as 5th choice backup half?) or if Fitz is covering for a bad attitude or something.

Whatever the reason the good news is that Fitz is developing as a coach when he can trot out bs like this with a straight face - Flanno was the master

In relation to Trindall earning his spot - I took it that he meant because Trindall has trained whole off-season as the main back up half - not so much as recent NRL form

Definitely can't be because of recent form

I half took the meaning as that as well but how long is Trindalls spot earned on the back of an off-season before that spot is lost on the back of bad performances? Well let's hope Braydon doesn't go backwards from here and can build on last weeks performance because it still feels like bit of a compromised selection and use of a bench spot.

Providing there is no injuries he might come on and give McInnes a breather @ lock late game unless Fitz has Wade or Tolmang fill that roll

Comparing the two teams, man for man think how could we possibly lose to this team.

Mind you I thought the same against Brisbane and Canberra...
