All about getting a roll on in the modern game.

The other thing I'd like to see dealt with is the tackled player placing the ball on the ground while they are in the process of getting up or disentangled from the tackle.

Walking off the mark is probably my worst pet hate, nothing new, has been for years. It's diabolical.

It's far worse than off-side, obstruction, even forward passes.

Uncalled flops for me
Tuipolotu joining the Harper tackle where he though he had Tracey out for example - clear penalty

Flops used to be the norm in my day, didn't really make much difference to the flow of the game though.

Walking off the mark massively changes the effectiveness of a 10 metre defensive line and, ****ing annoyingly, often sucks the brain dead ref into calling an penalty against the team in defence.

I didn't think they did many flops in the 60s

How‘s that salary cap looking?
To be fair on some of those losing teams, they know they are out so are blooding young players.

Plenty of cap dollars sitting in the stands for some of those losing sides too (Hastings, Jurbo/Turbo, Carrigan).

And not all teams are blooding youngsters, in fact most are near full strength from what I could see.
A couple of injuries or suspensions but Broncos, Warriors and dogs are close to full strength.

My pet peeve atm is players not touching the ball with their foot when playing it. More people not touching it than those who do
