The NRL is prepared to accommodate the small number of players who are continuing to hold out against getting the COVID-19 vaccination, in the belief the group’s risk to the competition is “low to nothing”.

The risk to other players probably isn’t that bad, but professional sports people do come in contact with a lot of other vulnerable people through their work.

Oh well. **** the sick

Yeah, it's one thing to stand up for what you believe in, it's another to throw away a stupidly high paying job over what the other 95% of the population has already done
Doing something because everybody else does is the definition of being a sheep.

No, a sheep is a

quadrupedal, ruminant mammals typically kept as livestock. Like all ruminants, sheep are members of the order Artiodactyla, the even-toed ungulates. Although the name sheep applies to many species in the genus Ovis, in everyday usage it almost always refers to Ovis aries. Numbering a little over one billion, domestic sheep are also the most numerous species of sheep. An adult female is referred to as a ewe (/juː/), an intact male as a ram, occasionally a tup, a castrated male as a wether, and a young sheep as a lamb.
"Doing something because everybody else does"

is not always a bad thing.

Life needs to get back to normal at some point though.

I dare say institutions such as aged care, hospitals etc will still require visitors to be vaccinated so there is some protection there.

That’s right. People do immoral **** all the time. If they have no care for others in society you can’t really help that.

I’m glad they’re having fun with their make believe weekly fascism march. They are really very dumb. Of all the problems in the world, this one doesn’t even rate. These people are so stupid that they can’t even understand who is ****ing them over. Zero understanding of history, zero understanding of medicine, zero understanding of the social contract.

True, I think people in Melbourne are just over lock downs more than anything though, it's the most locked down city in the world during the pandemic.

Some people have legitimate concerns , you need to respect that. I know of someone who's daughter is a vegetable as a result of a vaccination gone wrong. You can't blame people like that for not taking the jab.

This is correct, i know quite a few people marching, the girl on stage Singing, etc. Don't agree with it, but its more against the Victorian "Victorian" Draconian approach

Stupidly though these public protests are more likely to lead to more lockdown than less

Can't remember the exact specifics mate, happened a little while ago.

It's extremely uncommon but it does happen, some people just don't react well.

I get every vaccination but if that happened to one of my kids it would change that.

Wish where I lived had lockdowns. 48% vacc rate and winter coming, everyone acting like it's finished already. Gonna blow up again.
