5.Hiroti is one of the most unenthusiastic looking players I have seen. Plays without passion I really don’t get the love for him by some here. There is no way in the world that he deserves a starting spot next year ahead of Ronaldo

Some people on here love to make up their own narrative don’t they

disappointing second half as per usual (thanks Joshy) but didn't end up a disaster. gives Titans just enough work to have to do against the Warriors to give us a chance and keep things interesting . be funny if Titans get smashed and we were worrying for nothing.

we never gave up tonight and we could have. at least we are showing some degree of resolve and desire even if we did display some weak defense at times I think it's an improvement on what we were dishing up earlier in the year under Hannay

we just couldn't handle Paps, smith, Hughes and grant

discipline was a very pleasing aspect and we didn't make that many errors so Storm had to work for their trys not just be handed the field position but once they got that field position we struggled to contain them
we worked even harder to manufacturer our trys than them but they kinda just had the seas part ways for them up the middle - sigh . they have such elite talents they can essentially carry reserve graders without much of a hiccup

Why blame the coach for a team’s second half.

They’re adults and professionals. To think a team’s second half performance live and dies by the coaches half time pep talk is frankly stupid.

I think it was a reference to the fact that the Sharks have lost the second half in almost every game since Hannay took over.

The last conversion attempt was rushed and should not of been - every 2 points critical ..

Apparently before this round we are 4th on first halves only and 14th on second halves only

There was a thing on Facebook
If results were awarded for first half and second half prior to this game , it would read

First Half
Sharks 14 wins 2 draws 7 losses
Second half
Sharks 7 wins , 2 draws and 14 losses

Maybe one for Bort to drill into

I already did this a couple of weeks ago in the General 2021 thread.

A 1 pt loss would've been better. Unlikely,cause it's the Warrior's,but I'm feeling we still fall inside the 8 .

Sorry mate. I know you and several others weren’t saying that Hiroti deserves to be ahead of Ronnie. I know a few have said that he is a good depth signing which I really disagree with, but that is just my opinion.

My mentioning of Mawene not worthy of getting a starting spot ahead of Ronnie was in response to someone here saying that they thought Mulitalo should not be a lock in for a wing spot next year. Can’t remember who said that though. He is definitely our best option imo

Sorry mate missed it
So it's TRUE ?

Yeah , no chance of reading that info if it was :)

Short version was that prior to the Broncos game, the only second halves that Hannay had won were the first Dogs game, the first Storm game, and Magic round vs Bunnies. They’ve been out scored by a lot in second halves.

The other interesting thing was that this was not the case under Morris. The Sharks typically won the second half under Bomber, other than the games when there were a heap of injuries (Roosters, Eels, plus Raiders semi last year).

TAhanks Burgess,
Seems not enough Red Snakes at half time under Hannay ?
