Anyone know how to get tickets?

My guess is that they are waiting for an update from the Premier re: the any potential lifting/changes to rules after 6am Friday. The good news is, the current rules say that a stadium with a capacity under 20,000 are not restricted by numbers (Redcliffe is 10,000).

I can't get there for this one, but if I could and I wasn't taking kids I'd be looking to sit up on the balcony at the clubhouse. Awesome place to watch a game from, and the bar is only shouting distance away.

I like most people have very little hope for this game. It's this game and the Storm game i had pencilled in as losses . If we do lose we need to not get smashed and hopefully other results go our way.

Whilst anything can happen on the day I think our best outcome is a 1-12 point loss.
We are going 1 and 1 at the moment so I don’t see much changing this round, but then we have a very good chance to string a few wins together which hopefully puts us firmly into top 8.
🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I go straight to the end of the team lists ..

Gerard Sutton ……..

Yep as a NRL fan you always gotta check who the 18th man for the opposition is

We have a 43% Win/Loss under Gerard Sutton

Still better than the 26% record we have against Manly

We are going to get reamed from both ends but it's been such a weird year we might have a better chance than traditionally though we have some outs but I think we jagged a win against the sea eagles last season IIRC.
They are a better team in better form this time round regardless

We gunna have to score 5 or more try's cause they will get at least that against our flimsy middle defense. It will be hard to generate these sort of points without SJ & Moylan

Tracey in the halves and Talakai being persisted with defending on an edge is scary for us but at least Hiroti drops out from the bench with Chambers back. We are missing having Wilton available

Thankyou.

It's worth the risk. Imagine the buzz if we beat them.

At least it's not Brookvale.

Hate to see how our left side goes then, given we concede more (%) tries there than any other team.

Interestingly our right side defence (which matches up against most teams stronger offence) concedes the least (%) tries of any team.
Only 27% of the tries we concede come through our right side. Manly score a relatively (to other teams) low amount through the middle but are probably the most even team between right and left with their rights being one of the stronger rights.

Obviously Turbo can chop us apart anyway, but the stats suggest it is the Saab and Harper wing that will do the most damage.

Well done lads, talking about the ref on page 1.

Somehow I doubt it matters.

There are games the ref matters, I probably don't expect this to be one

Morgan Harper is very underrated and just as dangerous as others mentioned.

Also that back rower with the unpronounceable surname.

To avoid trying to type it I left him off when writing Saab and Harper haha
Hopefully Talakai remembers to stick when he hits this week and can shut him down. Saab is a big mismatch for Katoa and Will will have his work cut out for him keeping on top of Harper after his big stint out.

Schuster on the other side very good also, but I think Ramien and Ronnie can probably defend Parker and Garrick a bit better (as long as Turbo isn't involved).

I wasn't confident v Bulldogs and was stressing more about that game.

Being massive underdogs sits ok with me. No expectations. I can relax this week (kind of)

Yeah I'm pretty much just hoping we can put in a performance that doesn't completely embarrass us and bomb our +/- even further.
Big step up required from Trindall this week to be the go to half.

In have a gut feeling that we are going to pull out one of those games were everything goes right and falsely announce ourselves as title contenders.

Do yourselves a favour and get on turbo to score 2 tries and us to lose by 20.

Yeah sorry mate and true what you say .

This is something that I agree with Gus about .

This ref loves the limelight ..it should be about the players ..

Just joking mate, no need to apologise.

Won't matter this week, we could win the penalty count 30-0 and still lose against Manly.

Yeah mate - usually enjoy watching Turbo but it’s going to be painful this week - think he’s been out for past 2 meetings ..

Very negative vibe in here - wasn’t long ago that we took Manly to the cleaners.. reckon Moylan gets the other halves spot with Trindall. Losing SJ makes the win a little harder to get but still wouldnt be suprised if we pull off a win.

Couple of our boys are getting on a little roll

Not surprising, our defence is horrid. Canberra carved us up in the middle and we made Canterbury look like the Storm for a while.

Manly are in a different league to those two teams assuming they're switched on, which is rarely an issue when they play us.
