We dont' have to give the loan player game time but better to have one just in case
+1
edit: I caved, suggests Sean O'Sullivan or Billy Walters will loan to us (and not be eligible to play finals)
O’Sullivan and Walters….
Would rather just stick with what we have
Thanks fellas. I forgot what year it was but I remember when O’Sullivan was being hyped big time. Definitely been underwhelming.
Sorry egg, I don’t want to sound petty or rude but when it’s something like that, its better just to post the names with the link instead of just a ****ing teaser like your making money off of Triple M clicks.
The utility for the dogs, Bailey Biondi-odo looks a goer. Would be a great budget pickup to compete for the 14/9/7/6.
He's replaced Young Flanno in the halves this round.
Wow!
He is down as been dropped, not injured after just the 1 game back.
Sadly I’d say that puts a line through young Flanagan at the dogs Surely!
As one of the commentary team said the other day (maybe Brandy) said something along the lines of “the Roosters don’t let players leave unless they aren’t up to NRL standard”. Actions speak a thousand words!
I’d have the feelers out in SL for a 2-3 year contract if I was him and try to get some games, experience behind me and make a run for the NRL again after that.
I'd be happy with any of those players, on the right Dough.
Any Eel worth snaring ?
TO RE-SIGN OR TO LET GO? IT’S DECISION TIME FOR THE EELS
With November 1 creeping up quickly, the Eels will need to make some big calls on the future of several of their stars before they get snapped up by rivals.
As of November 1, players that are off-contract at the end of 2022 can begin negotiating with rivals.
For the Eels this means Clint Gutherson, Junior Paulo, Reed Mahoney and Ryan Matterson among others can hit the market in less than three months if the club don’t lock them in beforehand.
Junior Paulo would be a good fit, and maybe Gutho in the centres, although I think Gutho will want mega $$$$$'s
A back rower in Capewell schooled him.Did you watch Gutho play centre for NSW last year?

Six-again spin-off: How rules are shifting recruitment plans
There is a lot to unpack in this article
A number of mentions of cronulla staff/players, Storm stuff, big forwards, 6 agains, "eyes up" vs control, and more
I'll wait for Egg's summary.
