Mortimer and Cherrington were never purchased to pay NRL hooker. Not to say they cant but neither has shown anything to suggest they should be. Mortimer is to cover the halfs and Cherrington NSW Cup hooker.
Thats why the club is desperate to sign Segyaro. Him and Brailey are the hookers Flanno wants.

No doubt but brailey is untested and browns always been back up for everything. Im happy about this, but its not flannos style. Hope it works

Thanks mate. He seems to have mixed reviews. Wasn't going to get up early to watch the game, but I am fairly keen now with Brailey, Capewell and Ramien in the starting line up. Will give us an indication how they can handle a big occasion.

A bit annoyed how the game couldn't be scheduled on a Sunday morning our time. Maybe a Soccer clash? Our premiers go over there every year, and the common Aussie working man diehard supporter has to drag himself out of bed for 2 hours and then try and get himself back to sleep for an hour or two before work. Life wasn't meant to be easy I guess, but they should look after us better. Sucks!

Flanno has picked the best team he could IMO. If Brailey gets overwelmed, Nu simply won't and can replace him. Beale at FB is the least disruptive, as Beale is used to moving around the team and has a lot more big game experience than Bird. It means Bird can just do what he always does, in the position he knows best.

My only concern is Townsends hand. I hope it holds out. They're certainly going to run at him.

Now the Bronco's have lost it's more crucial for us to win I reckon. Cap off a good year, and remove any fuel for the argument that we got lucky against the storm.
