Glad I wasn't the only one calling BS on this. They were going on with "Was it all apart of a plan".

It was a crap kick, and it was a lucky bounce off the crossbar. But QLDers run with anything to make themselves feel better. Oh it is Thurston, he must have meant it!

it is, but now mondays will be boring......and to be honest, even though it was wet weather, the 8,000 crowd number on friday arvo at belmore was typical of that pathetic time slot. it needs to go. sunday night is surely better

i agree the 6pm Friday game is crap but it had more people watch that gam eon fox then Rabbits v Tigers so Foxtel is happy....

I don't understand the logic of that time slot? It's obviously a massive stretch for crowds but I don't even see it as being good for TV?

Forget about crowds - that has nothing to do with it.

Id say the reason is as simple as - you have one Friday night game on at 8:00, so they are putting another game on in the "slot" before at 6:00

On another matter, was listening to ABC Radio on Saturday afternoon and they have Ruan Simms on the panel this year. It's refreshing to have a female that actually knows something about the game rather than women who only get a gig because of their looks.
