Well I live near Penrith and a lot of mates are Panthers fans, so I'll probably go for them, very mildly. I don't really care I'm all about the Swans for the next few weeks. Hate Parra with a passion. Don't want the Chooks to win because I don't want Ferguson to get his premiership. Melbourne Storm are smug bastards who don't deserve ****. Brisbane or Cowboys?.......yeah naaaah.
Then You have Gus and his 5 year plan fapp

As I've previously said, did a deal with the devil sitting at anz 5 minutes out from grand final kick off last year..pleading with the gods to look down and watch over us.. and in return I was happy to see storm win another as long as they didn't meet us again... and so it was said... go cam go billy go coops.
They idea of storm beating roosters in the granny has a certain element of (sux siiht Ferguson) to it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Storm or Cowboys
As long as it's not the others particularly Roosters and Eels

I understand the storm hate, but as far as im concerned until we meet them in another gf and they best us, i dont care if they win others. Id rather they win than anyone else still goin. Although cowboys with no jt would be awesome. Morgan the new goat

I care about storm being in the comp at all - end of story.

As I've pointed out before, they don't have to make ends meet like every other club - except for the clubs that have been taken over by the nrl

I'm with you .
Storm brought everything that is BAD into the game
Grapple Tackles , Chicken wings , slowing the game down ., Salary cap cheating , taking Sharks under 20s .
Stuff em , hope they loose like us on the weekend and see Bellyache make Flannigan look like a choir boy .

storm are privately owned now, not by news. What makes them different to Souths?

I agree with your first point about the raging boner, but the "local" thing is not correct. There is no such rule. The Roosters, Sharks and Manly tend to get the SFS unless it looks like they can get a big crowd ... but Penrith, Parra the Dragons, Dogs and Tigers have all played home finals at both venues... and the Rabbitohs typically play at ANZ despite being the closest team physically to the SFS. They also make the Knights play home finals at the SFS, which is much farther away for their fans than ANZ. You can say that the NRL will make Parra play there because of the raging boner, or because there might only be one game in Sydney that weekend, but you can't say that there is any NRL rule about playing at the closest venue to the team because that is nonsense. If you looked at it over the last ten years and factored in crowd sizes etc you will find that the NRL gives exaclty zero ******s who the "local" team is.

BUT ... in the case of a potential Parra v Sharks round 2 final HB is probably right ... if only because the NRL would gamble that plenty of Sharks fans will make the trip regardless of stadiums and plenty of Parra fans will get off their cousins long enough to make it to the game.
Well there you go mate, Parra v Cows is at ANZ. You reckon there will be more there than the SFS capacity?

Think I will cheer for Parra. (especially this weekend when hopefully they put Cowboys to sword) I don't really know anyone that well who supports Parra so wont have to put up with gloating fans (much like I was last year)
Storm can eat a dick . No way will I support those cnuts
