Like everyone I agree it's time for Flanno to go, but failing that we have no choice but to spend massive money on a match winning half.

If Carney was in the side last night we win by 30.

We have plenty of high quality players but without a decent half there's little point having cash tied up in the forwards or the backs. We had plenty of possession, plenty of field possession, a mistake rate lower than previous weeks, a better effort than previous weeks, it's the lack of playmaking that is our undoing.

Given the lack of options left on the market we should be throwing the bank at James Maloney. What have we got to lose, no point having the DCE money sitting in the bank. We'll never see the best of Holmes or Bird without something in the halves.

Just make Maloney an offer he can't refuse.

I want Flanno to give Murphy a run over a few weeks to see what he is made of. If he can be developed we may not need to throw the bank at Maloney.

I was just thinking, it's pretty pointless bringing a guy down from Queensland if you have no intention of ever playing him.

If you have no intention of playing your reserve grade half, you might as well just get one locally. Or keep the one that you had in Penani.

Don't bother wasting everyone's time and money.

Unfortunately mate while Flanno is here, all offers can be easily refused.
Jeez mate some of the signings Flanno has done have been solid and would't have come about without Flannos touch. Yes l know he has missed the target but when we were really struggling he got Fifita cheap with his bro in trail (he seems to be stepping up a bit) as woolworths would say cheap, cheap, cheap

Apparently rumours are growing that Widdop wants out of the Dragons.

If Widdop becomes available then he's the best option on the market by far.

Yes mate agreed but we got Fifita before the off field crap came up and A Fifita isn't exactly on fire at the moment. It just seems a lot of players are now giving us a wide berth now. I can only speculate it's because of Flanagan.

If we were looking at the future, I wouldn't mind seeing the Nikorima Brothers here. Both young and off contract. Just read that Kodi has pledged his allegiance to New Zealand - even better for us during origin.

Won't happen but I'd love to see this. Speed and pace to burn. Imagine having Barba off the bench, especially if they bring the new interchange rules in. Surely the Broncs have a lot of money already spent on the cap for next year. Bennett won't want to spend huge dollars on them.
1. Holmes
2. Feki
3. Beale
4. Bird
5. Gagan
6. K Nikorima
7. J Nikorima
14. Ben Barba (Super Sub)

l suppose it is easy to blame the coach Chad but his comment to say that they have lost "how to win games" has opened my eyes, not because of hunger but doubt by the players . I don't buy that ASADA has anything to do with it, but by gum it must have drained them.l think we will click shortly

Especially with Boyd, Milford and McCollough already long term options for Brisbane in the Nikorima brothers preferred positions.

I hope you're right mate but it's bloody hard to get yourself out of a slump and I'm not sure Flanno's the bloke to oversee it. The talent is there, the skills are there but the application is not which suggests that their heads aren't in the right place and it takes a special coach to fix that. I don't think Flanno can do it but would love to be proved wrong.

I remember great excitement over the signings of

Carney
Lewis
Gibbs
Fifita
Gordon
Ryan
Heighington

Heighingtons been consistent, Gordon has golden hair apparently, Ryan was run of the mill in his short time here, Fifita had 1.5 good years, Lewis has spent a bit of time injured, which has ruined his time here, and Carney well he did a Carney

Signings are only as good as what they do when theyare here. Not what they did before. Most of the high profile players Flanno brought here, were better at their previous clubs

We are back in the position where we are paying overs for anyone to come here. I wouldn't play for sharks unless you make it very very enticing for me.

Hodgo was my first choice, but he won't come here. Take a gamble and offer Mitch Cornish a truckload of money. Probably our only hope.

yeah im just saying of all the talent that Flanno has brought here, we've really not seen the best of any of them (except Carney and Fifita 2013).

Maybe Flanno would be more suited to a player recruitment role
