That training shirt would make a nice jersey as a one off year, it’s different and themed spot on. Makes use of our colours and our logo well

So it's not as though you're against the hoops jersey, just that the quality of the design isn't great?

Hoops is a pretty basic universal design, I don’t think it’s really Sharks specific and I guess you’re right in that we don’t even do it justice with the quality of the design

Merch is key. As a club with probably the best colours at their disposal and one of the best logos/animals we can actually even integrate into the jersey that’s how good it is we should be up there with best jerseys/merch each year but we’re nowhere near it with what we toss up

I don't mind a basic design if it's done well, all the iconic jerseys are basic.

In this country....all the big AFL teams like Collingwood, Richmond and so on. They rarely change, they're basic but they're traditional and mean something.

Look at the iconic soccer clubs, they're all basic designs but they're iconic.

We have a pretty shtty iconic jersey if that’s what we’re going for is my point

A few more mockups. Wouldn’t mind seeing something like this for a couple years. Then revert back to the classic hoops. I was thinking of the curvature of a shark when doing these, and the grey one I’m calling the ‘Great White’ jersey
