Swap Gibbs with Tagatese/prior actually

Tagatease is definitely above Prior and Gibbs.

He was quality at the end of last year. Both him & Tupou really stepped up. They are both def. top 17 if they maintain last years form

Agreed - Gibbs should be down the pecking order (for a variety of reasons including form...)

Agree. Lars should only be for players getting on in their careers if the player chooses to go that way.

Didn't Covell go through LARS just to play 1 more season? Was about 28-29 yrs old at the time or thereabouts. Agree with your statement.

Dont think it was a season. Didnt he do it in rd 1 or 2 and came back to nsw cup 12 weeks later? Then played a few rounds (inc his fairwell where he scored an intercept try that took an hour to run in from halfway).

It has the potential for brilliant results, hasnt had that extensive professional testing. Rugby league is one of the most damaging on the body sports, while results r good, we havent seen what happens if it gies bad.

Q. Did gardner get lars surgery on his when he got hurt?

I remember Covell's farewell game with the intercept, fend and resulting try.

Covell was the first player to have LARS in Australia I think but some opponents of the surgery claim it can go very very bad in the longer term down the track even if the person is no longer playing sport
I respect Covell for taking the risk and putting in a few more games in Sharks colors. He probably hadn't made up his mind on retirement when he decided to go ahead with the surgery.

I think there was talk of it but I don't think he did in the end.

Don't know whats happening with Gibbs, Feki?

We really need to do some swap deal and get rid of De Gois. Feki should be re-signed. Gibbs needs to be replaced with a decent prop.

Looking at this we will be standard with a crap 2,3,4,5 again. We need a strike centre.
