i dont think its a **** unity instance, its more our marketing team ****ed up, because that is appauling

I don't know if marketing is in charge of naming prices are they? and at the end of the day the buck stops with the board and the boss.

and still, i need someone to swear at.

last year a seat in the cage was $240, at 11 games, $21.80

now it is $385, at 12 games, is $32.08

50% mark up? LOL

btw, i must reiterate that the CSSC didnt set the pricing, the club did...
I think the $32.08 would be a reasonable price to pay for a one-off game in that area. Fair enough.

But membership needs to be discounted from that amount. You should get a discount for buying in bulk. Most people will miss at least one or two games and bad weather will probably happen at least 2-3 times every year. I think it was 2009 when it rained for nearly every home game. Those seats aren't covered, so if it rains you're going to get wet. The ticket price should allow for that contingency, as the buyer is taking a massive risk by buying a season pass for that area.

Also, if it does look like rain, the club will be no chance of selling a substantial number of tickets in the concourse. Therefore they will get nothing. They better pray for good weather.

$32 for a one off game there would be a great price but the members deserve to be rewarded for their loyality and the risk they run buying a season ticket.

It's as if they think we're privileged to be Sharks supporters.

i would suggest it has more to do with the membership/marketing team than the leagues club board

well look, whoever it is, **** them.

and it's not like a can't afford it, it's just that I'm against it on principle. they're stooging the fans for more cash because they've run such a ****ty operation in previous years that they can't raise enough revenue through sponsorship. i don't agree with that and they can suck my hemorrhoids.

FYI sharks fans. The GM of commercial and marketing that was responsible for the 2012/13 10,000 member campaign and imagery Pat Woods was forced to resign by the new board in July this year. He was replaced in August by a Steve Noyce lackey called Steve McGee from the Parra Eels. McGee would have put forward the new flying carpet, stupid smiles campaign and hefty price increase to CEO Steve Noyce who would have reviewed it and then had the board ( Damian Keogh and friends) sign off. Unfortunately a majority of members voted these blokes in so no point whinging now.
