I dont feel it was an issue of Albert not having a spot in the team. His departure was unavoidable.
He would be carving up with Todd no doubt, and it is one of them 'the one that got away' cases. But at the time he was sent packing, the club was left with little option. Been in trouble off the field (while recovering from injuries) a few times. Hell he didnt even get a run with the Knights before they marched him. Good thing for him he is playing well now, and good thing for him things seem to get swept under the carpet alot better in Qld than they do in the Shire

Its sucks that he isnt a shark anymore. But im just happy i still get to watch him in Rugby League, He is a great young talent and exciting to watch. Both him and Sezer are really great young halves.

It wasnt even a proper interview. He got ambushed and sucked in by Rothfield after getting off the plane and said some things which Rothfield quoted in an interiew format in the paper the next day. With his love of social media and always wanting to do the right thing and stick up for the club I dont think 'not being able to say things' was one of DI's greatest assets. Unfortunately he just got played by Rothfield a couple times which, yes, pretty much cost him his job.
The DT now require you to subscribe for $4 a week to be able to read their articles online on your phones and ipads etc.
Otherwise when you click on the article it only gives you the first couple lines. What a scam.
