haha bull**** it was intentional, he's been taking high balls like that for as long as I can remember!

He's been doing it for years yes, but it's always been to keep defending players from smashing him as soon as he touches the ground.

He shouldn't be able to hide behind the "it's my technique" defense as he already had the ball in hand and he was coming down from the leap so there was no need for him to stick his leg out. If anything him sticking the leg out would have made it harder for him to land on the ground standing.

I also really hope he gets suspended for it otherwise we'll have 15 other fullbacks purposely sticking their legs out to keep defenders away and it'll result in a broken jaw.

If he's been doing it for years, which he has, then why haven't other fullbacks been doing it before now? Can't provide too much of an advantage.

Match review committee have cleared him

"The NRL match review committee has ruled that Melbourne fullback Billy Slater's kick to the head of Canterbury forward David Klemmer was accidental contact. Slater was not charged over the incident, which was placed on report after Slater's boot struck Klemmer in the head after the Test star had launched himself to field a kick."

There's no case for it. His leg was out, he didn't kick at old matey. That's not kicking. That's an accident that could have been avoided if old mate wasn't coming in to tackle a defender in the air.

Waterhouse just stuffed up, he said "if you back Black Caviar tonight through me and it wins I'll give you a free $200 bet". The special is supposed to be 'if it breaks a record'

Parramatta getting walloped by the Tigers tonight - Happy Days

Can't wait to read about Ricky's excuses and the rot to really set in there. Nothing against Parra but Ricky needs to be put in his place.
