Manly have the worst depth in the comp and have for some time, our depth (including Punani) did well against them. Big freaking deal. Townsend had a man of the match performance last year in the NRL and has always been at least one level above.

What about Jake Walsh? Or is Townsend the best prospect we have coming through the ranks?

Walsh has a lot of potential, he's over-hyped quite a bit by the NYC commentates and by our very own fans but he's defiantly a good prospect.

Or best prospect though? Well that's a whole other story.

Apparently walsh has trained at half with firsts all off season. hes being doing extra conditioning sessions as well. as has bukuya.

apparently, according to a poster on here that i work with that went to a trial, our halves did nothing.

all he said was chad kicked a 40/20 then 2 plays later threw the ball into the stands with a shocking ball

arrrrrr yeahhh nahhh yeahhh nahhh dunno he is a ex half /five eight ,he can tackle like a thrashing machine and has a handy boot on him ,,and he starts the game with the big guns of heighton ,lewis and gallen ,then de gois comes on and wade drops back to lock to give one of the props a rest for gallen to go to prop ,,keeps wade on the field for a lot more minutes

I'm excited about the 2013 season however I still fear that our 9 and 7 options will end up costing us! I'm sure I'm stating the obvious but I really don't know how we can compete with the top sides with top halves and hookers.
