Have we shaken off the distractions of ASADA? I think the ASADA will be a plague on our entire season in one way or another but in saying that our players and coaching staff are all profesionals and will not use that as an excuse, more a motivation to suceed,

Who is your player of the year so far? Johnno Wright

What do we need to improve in to win more games? Robson

Do we have what it takes to make top 4 or 8? We will make top 8 but not top 4

Will we retain the Peach? Yes we will

Are you happy with the coach? Yes I am

Are you happy with the front office? Hard to say for current - not with past

Have we shaken off the distractions of ASADA? For the most part yes, we won 4 games straight since interviews stopped

Who is your player of the year so far? Fafita the Meter Eater (By a long way)

What do we need to improve in to win more games? Need more creativity in attack to provide more options than just Carney. Hooker and Halfback are an issue in this regard. Still some defensive niggles (i.e. Poms)

Do we have what it takes to make top 4 or 8? Top 8 absolutely. Ability to earn top 4 yes but our typical late season fade means unlikely to happen

Will we retain the Peach? Yes

Are you happy with the coach? Cops alot of crap, even when we are winning. Reasonably happy with the Coach but team selection and player retention borders on mind boggling at times. When he gets the team motivated and up for a game we can beat pretty much anyone. Still hasn't found consistency

Are you happy with the front office? Wouldn't go so far to say I'm "happy" but I'm confident better days are ahead regardless of which Board is in place. Need more professionals in the Sharks organisation though with no agendas but plenty of skils

B minus: Going ok, some issues to iron out, unsure if Flanno has the bollocks to iron them out though.

Who is your player of the year so far? Fifita. **** of a bloke to tackle, working really hard for the Sharks.

What do we need to improve in to win more games? Execution of plays, kicking game is too on/off, backline plays, play the ball speed, the retirement of Ben Pomeroy.

Do we have what it takes to make top 4 or 8? We'll place 5th to 8th at best.

Will we retain the Peach? I ****ing hope so

Are you happy with the coach? Not entirely but I'll reserve my judgement for the end of the season.

Are you happy with the front office? I guess....

I would give us a b, for our season so far. I think the whole ASADA thing will stick around for a long time,
but we seem to be dealing with better than the start of the season.
Fifita has been the stand out player so far this season.
we need to improve our completion rates, to improve.
yes I think we will make the top 8, the distractions from the ASADA investigation I think may have robbed
us of a top 4 chance.

I am reasonably happy with the coach, a few selections here and there I do not agree with, I would like
to see him give more of our young guys a go. most of the top teams seem to have their own set moves from
scrums etc but we do not, I would like to see us have a few of our set plays.
I think the inside past is used to much, & would be more effective if used less.
last night I thought carney performance was way below his best, & I think it may have been a case of trying to hard
cause he wanted to have a big game cause of missing out on playing origin. flanno I think should have done more to calm him
down and convince him to treat it just like any other game.
but over all I think flanno is doing a good job.
I think it is be soon to judge the current front office, but they appear to be doing a good job, & are definitely handling the ASADA
investigation better than the previous board, now I know the previous board did some great things, but I still think they could have
handled things way better with the ASADA investigation.
we had to put up with endless bad press, quite a lot of the bad press was generated either by things the old board said or the actions
they took in dealing with the ASADA investigation.
I think we have a team that is more than capable of beating any other team in the NRL when we play our best, a lot of what happens
in the finals comes down to injuries. for example Gallen injury last year was a huge loss to us, as was slater for the storm.
so I think we will make the top 8, possibly top 4. but think we are one or two class players short of being likely to win our first
comp, but flannos has been slowly building our team into one of the better teams in the comp, we some good signings each year.
if for example if we could sign Williams from the raiders, Briscoe or another class back and a prop to replace ross who will most
likely to retire. if we could sign the above players and retain most of our depth players I think we would be a real premership threat
next year.
I think the above signings and re signings are realistic too.

B- doing well, a few issues to sort out but generally happy. Turned the season around with the 4 wins in a row. Now in a position to make an impact if we are good enough
C- have real concerns about making the 8

Have we shaken off the distractions of ASADA? Yes. For the time being. We are only a charge away from having the season derailed again.

Who is your player of the year so far? Fifita, comfortably

What do we need to improve in to win more games? The only creativity comes from Carney. If he is off, we have nothing else to go to. Need more zip from dummy half and the attacking kicking game is very hot/cold. I would like to see more support runners hitting holes off Tupou and Luke Lewis. Purchasing a couple of centres would help but won't happen.

Do we have what it takes to make top 4 or 8? Top 4 is unlikely but top 8 is in our hands if we play well. There are a number of ordinary sides in this comp, so anything less than 6th is a poor result.

Will we retain the Peach? It will be a shame if we don't because he has the X Factor that we lack apart from Carney. He is a creator and we badly need more of that. We have a terrible record of developing attacking players.

Are you happy with the coach? He is going OK but needs to make some hard calls. He needs to get Gallen playing tight and not always playing 80. He needs to recruit better quality centres.

Are you happy with the front office? Hard to say. There is a better quality of admin staff with Noyce and Cullen providing leadership and stronger financial staff. This is critical. Too early to say regarding the new board but the links to Rothfield are concerning.

What do we need to improve in to win more games? Attacking structure, not just throw it to carney and see what happens, improve todds consistency

Do we have what it takes to make top 4 or 8? Yeh im expecting 6th or 7th we probably have the best forward pack in the comp but we are lacking a nrl standard halfback, right centre and left winger and not really sure if the hooker thing is working.

Will we retain the Peach? I think so especially with bakuya leaving and topous future uncertain

Are you happy with the coach? Happy with his defensive coaching and motivational skills. His attacking coaching is terrible and selections are annoying because of too much player power, eg pomeroy sucking gallen off,robbo sucking flanno off, gallen deciding how long and where he plays. Has no interest in youth atm which is frustrating.

Are you happy with the front office? Not sure atm

I said at the start of the year I think we will scrap into the 8. I still believe that, however so many other teams are inconsistent at the moment. Takes a little bit of consistency from the Bulldogs, Knights, Panthers, or Raiders we could fall well behind. We are well behind the top 4, and a bit behind the Titans. I don't really worry about any of the other team, even the Broncos, they are balls this year.

Who is your player of the year so far? Fifita. This isn't really up for debate.

What do we need to improve in to win more games? Creativity, outside back defence, and half play.

Attack is flat, predictable and when Gal returns clogged up to the wazoo with second rowers/props.

Ben Pomeroy is a liability in defence, and attack. The lad can't read a defence at all, and still can't pass. Give Mills or Wright a go, both have better defence, which is a start.

I'll leave the halves alone, most can see it. I'll just say, you can't always rely on one half producing magic. Takes two to tango...

Do we have what it takes to make top 4 or 8? As I mentioned in my grade, feel we will scrap in to the 8. Only cause of other teams inconsistency.

Will we retain the Peach? Nope. Will go looking for opportunities.

Are you happy with the coach? Nope. Everyone here seems to get 'good guy' mixed up with 'good coach'. Flanno is a good guy, maybe even a top bloke. Though he is in the bottom 4 coaches in the league. In summary, good guy, but a **** coach.

Are you happy with the front office? Used propaganda, fear, and fake promises to get into power. Delivered nothing.

i'm between B and C. I have my doubt abouts making the 8 with some of the players we have but we have abetter roster then last year so we should make it in.

Have we shaken off the distractions of ASADA? ATM we have put a lot of space between us and the ASADA business keeping it out of training has really helped... I think Noyce has really done a great job as soon as he was appointed he said he was going to create that space

What do we need to improve in to win more games? Better attack and execution...Carney can't do it on his own and with our 7 and 9s like last year its gonig to be easy for us to get shut out against the good coaches/teams
