Hey, I've noticed the general admission member prices have gone up for next year. How much will tickets be at the gate next year? Still $20??

so the interstate membership has everything the net membership has plus the cooler bag etc and 2 tickets??

I wish we could chose what home game the ticket was for, would be hard to commit tothe first home game at present. but definetly want to head to shark park for the first time at some point next year.

The flexi 5 looks like great value for money, for any sydney siders! what a deal that it is!

Are you sure Coco?

The way I read it - Interstate gets a cooler bag, Net members get a backpack. It didn't look like Interstate gets both?

I'll look at it again.

b&b - interstate gets the extras listed at top (cooler etc) plus a net package which includes the backpack.

jardz - thanks for q&a sess mate and i've gotta say the packages look great - heaps more kit for ones $ this year. i too am unable to find the member's tie (which i'm pretty excited about), hopefully we'll see that soon.

is there an email for webmaster? sharks store has jewelery misspelled several times and that stuff irks me...

thanks again mate.

Sorry if this sounds like bit of a rant. I really enjoyed getting down to the games this season and I managed to get to all games at Toyota bar the Brisbane match. But last year’s handling of the memberships was a bit of a shemozzle.

Last year I renewed both mine and my wife's seats under one 'package'. We received two membership packs and two season tickets, but both had my name on them.

Also we noticed that my wife's name did not appear on the 2011 member's jersey (it did appear on the 2010 jersey). This is even after confirming a couple of times with the club that both our names would appear on it. I’m putting this down to me renewing as one package.

This year I want to avoid this, while keeping our current seats.

We both have our separate logins to the membership page, but only I have the option to renew our seats. I’m guessing the best way to do this is to have both of us renew separately, but how do I transfer one of my two seats to her? Should I call up instead?

On a different note, will the NRL be running the Battle of the Beaches membership competition again in 2012?

Just like to say thanks to Jards for answering these questions, appreciate the time given. I am still deciding between Net or Interstate. But have the same question as B&B as to whether you still receive the backpack hat and other gear as well as the cooler bag if i decide to go the Interstate membership. Thanks

Promise mate. All Country/Internet Memberships get a Shark Net Pack + the Cooler Bag. In the image it only has the Cooler Bag but you get all the other stuff too.

Essentially, you'll see two bags if you're a Country/Interstate Members as well as the cap, keyring etc.

Fitz posted the membership options, said the platinum membership was $100 a months, yet the website had it over six months.
Which one is it?

Not sure why the tie isn't appearing for you. It's going like hot cakes at the moment. Will ask the NRL if they know.

Certainly is mate.

It's nominal. It's set to ten months by default but if you think you can pay it off quicker there is the option to make it over shorter repayment periods. It can't be set to any longer than ten months though.

Thanks mate - Is there anyway the free tickets can be co-ordinated so that we are all together at the interstate games?

That's the only downside to that part of the package.

I mean, when I used my ticket for the suncorp game I was nowhere near the away bay, nor a truckload of forum members.

When I went to GC game - S1 was on the opposite side of the stadium.

We managed in both cases to "sneak" around so that we were all together, but it is a hassle - particularly if it was to be a full house.

At away games, you can see how advantageous it would be to have all the interstate members and CSSC in the same section.

Because of the Members Jersey problems with names missing in the past, the NRL actually tweaked the entire system so that no person's account (whether you sign up for one or twenty) will fall under the one persons name. If, hypothetically, you signed up a family Membership you would be asked to enter the names of each individual family Member so that we can extract the names out of the system correctly.

Because of this tweak, in theory, no names should be missing from the jersey and no names should be printed twice on cards (unless of course a person has entered their own name multiple times on the sign up form).

As for the Battle Of The Beaches, the NRL will be doing another Membership Race, but it will be based around retention and not new Members signing up in a week. It also naturally pits all the Clubs up against each other at once and not just beach Clubs etc. More logical if you ask me.

Can only happen if the seat next to you is free. As Platinum Members have first choice of their seats after the cut off date, it will depend on where you choose to sit. The closer you go to the ET Stand, the less likely you are to be placed somewhere with a spare seat next to you. Even if you pick a seat with one spare at the time, there's no guarantee that someone else might not pick the seat next to you.

We tried to do this, but we're actually known around the league for being a relatively good traveling fan base (Yay!) which means that the cluey Clubs deliberately spread us out to lessen our effectiveness. Unfortunately, we have reciprocal deals with Interstate Clubs which really puts us at their mercy. As always, we will do our best to accommodate this.

You got that right!

They certainly knew where we were at both GC & Brisbane games.

So there is no way of not picking a seat at all and only choosing your seats before games?

I guess im trying to say. Id like to have the option of just being able to call up the club and say. He its Billy here member number blah blah, my mate and i are flying down to Sydney for such and such game. id like to 2 tickets in the best available seats i can get. Then all i have to do is pay for his ticket and pick them up on the way in when i get there.

Could this be an option for me?
And if it helps, the tickets for games i can not make it to, id be happy to donate to anyone the cronulla sharks feel could benefit from them (sick kids etc)

Yup, this could be an option. Assuming my math is right, there's always a good chance of getting two seats side by side in everything but the ET Upper Grandstand.

No dramas on that one.
