2011, Rnd 2: SG Ball & Harold Matthew's Cup's v Sydney Roosters @ Henson Park

Round 2 sees the mighty Sharks take on the Sydney Roosters at Henson Park on Sunday this week, the Matty's Cup clash kicks off at 9:30 am and the SG Ball at 11:00

Be good to see all u guys and gals crawl outta bed and get to Henson Park to sing Up Up Cronulla and support both of our junior teams.

The Sg Ball were unlucky to loose last week with the scores locked at 26 all with a minute to go and and to wait for the Knights to have a penality goal, luckily they missed an easy shot. The Sharks tried to run the ball 100 m to win the game, only to see the Knights intercept the ball and run off with the game.

Last years historic minor premiers will again be very competitive under the watchful eyes of coach Dave Howlett and we can look forward to plenty of more good footy from the boyz.

The Matt's team will improve each week and are capable of plucking a few Roosters feathers on Sunday

Meanwhile in the junior reps, round 2 will see the Sharks take on the Sydney Roosters at Henson Park on Sunday, with the Matty's Cup clash kicking off at 9:30 am and the SG Ball at 11:00am.

The SG Ball were unlucky to lose last week with the scores locked at 26 all with a minute remaining. The Knights somehow missed an easy penality goal to win the game and the Sharks then went on the counter attack, only to see the Knights intercept the ball and run off with the game.

The Cronulla Sharks junior representative sides enjoyed outstanding wins over the weekend with both sides victorious over the Sydney Roosters at Henson Park on Sunday Morning.

The Harold Matthews held their opposition to nil, with tries to Anthony Moraitis and Kane Plummer and Tjaden McClean kicking one conversion.

The Harold Matthews meanwhile thumped the tri-colours with a smashing 38-12 win. Tries went to Nesiasi Mataitonga (3), Erony Mareko, Joseph Drinkwater, Josh Lambert and Jordan Tencate with Jake Walsh kicking five goals.
