Tbh, I don't know why there are calls for Sticky to be sacked actually.

He's not the one out there dropping the ball and missing tackles ffs.

The ****wits on the official FB page calling for him to be sacked wouldn't know a football from a ****ing watermelon tbh.

He's not that bad a coach, the lads just need to get some confidence and everything will fall into place, hopefully starting with a win against Parra tomorrow.

Ricky may not leave without being paid out.

BUT

We are happy with Ricky's defense and his' moral's and motivation, its just his' attacking that sucks.

Surely Cronulla can get an offense coach in like Johns or someone that can help us out just with that, I really think we arent in a bad situation as long as we get someone in JUST for attack. Ricky couldnt crack it about that could he ???

I really think the Cronulla managers etc, should be doing something about this their job is to make the club as profitable as possible, this would mean stop being worried about stepping on Rickys toes, and get someone in to help us with our main weekness.

Why do people want to get rid of Ricky. No other coach could have gotten us through last year like he did. Get off his back and lets see how the boys respond. It is up to them to get us out of this.

Just watching the Melbourne vs ST George match, these teams are SO MUCH better than the sharkies at the moment.

Seriously the attack is not comparible at all, and I am not talking about individual brilliance their structure is just so much better than ours.

I am happy to have Ricky as coach, but he dead set needs help, his' offensive record speaks for itself, people can say what they want (like the people have above) but to be honest people cant say that he is a good offensive coach because he isnt and the records over the last 7 years show this.

Come on, someone at Cronulla has to get an offensive coach in, (even if its just a part time gig)

Yeah, Finchy is playing pretty good. They have like 5 people running off each half all different lines, its great to watch. Ricky couldn't teach a dog to bark.

honestly guys, Lets consider Steve Folks

I know for a Fact he has a Clause in his contract that he can get out should he secure a Coaching roll in NRL.

I think he would be perfect for the Sharks

Stick with Ricky IMO, but if there was another coach to come in I would like Stephen Kearney he would bring a winning culture to the club that the Storm have and he has worked under 2 of the best Bennett and Bellamy, he must want a head coaching role in the near future

Do we want a fitness trainer-come-coaching dinosaur? His attitude etc are not that much different to Ricky's. And he's not exactly a coach of flowing football.

Top of my list would be Michael Maguire (ex Storm assistant) who's in the first year of a three year job in the SL. Reason: less expensive than Kearney, and so often its the mediocre players who got to the top with smarts and hard work that make the best coaches. Exhibit A: Bellamy.

Kearney would be fine though too.

I warmed to the idea of Nathan Brown after my initial retching. He's always been said to be one of the smartest players of his era. He'd have quite a bit of experience by now, so the youth thing wouldn't be so much of an issue. He probably wouldn't be too expensive, and he gets good media coverage and people like him.

Of the experienced coaches, Sheens would be top of my list because of his ability to instill good skills in youngsters and develop good junior systems (which has to a big priority for us). (Obviously Bennett and Bellamy aren't going anywhere soon). If Cartwright became available I'd jump at him too.

But say no to: Hagan, Henjak, Murray, Folkes.

Yep Maguire is my first choice as well.

He would be used to the structures taught & used by Bellyache.
