The Dragons are just warming up. I can't believe that none of you rate them. Brisbane were awful today against a reserve grade Manly and the Tigers were far from impressive against us.

I think Dragons will contend but I really don't think they will win.

I think there are two teams that are really up there and easily the best. They are the queens and storm with the other 3 teams mentioned chasing them.

Knights are the only team I would completely rule out though.

Cowboys: with an injection of a few signings and youth in T. Sims seem to have fallen away in the latter half of the season.

Dragons: after a few games that escaped their grasp that knocked the confidence about appear to have rediscovered their mojo; will go close.

The Tiger's minds are focused. They're prepared to endure the nitty-gritty; have produced are more consistent output.

Warriors: have the individual brilliance to get on a roll and do some damage.

Knights: have not much hope.

The Storm this year have jagged a lot of close wins and consequently gotten on a bit of a roll. They've never struck me as being absolutely superior to those that they've beaten. It's easy to find motivation after last year; next year's the real test.

The Broncos are physically dynamic. They on the other hand have scored their victories with a lot more conviction. Lockyer factor could be influential.

Hasler should have Manly physically primed; Foran's the match winner; he'll play well under pressure.

Wests, Manly, Dragons and Broncos are my final four.

Manly and Broncos GF.

I thought Gallen wrote a good piece in today's paper; not afraid to step on a few toes. Good to see.

I'm going for the Warriors because it'll piss the media and Nine off. I hope it's something like Warriors vs Cowboys hahaha. I'm dirty at the NRL and the 'glamour' Sydney teams that always get the rub of the green so I could never back the Tigers or teams like that.

I'd be pissed if I was a Manly supporter. They have to play this weekend at the SFS even though they won a home final. What happened to playing at your home ground during week one of the finals?

The Broncos looked average but they scored quite a few points. They could have scored a lot more if Parker's boot was more accurate and they scored those tries instead of knocking the ball on at the line (I think there were 3 of them).

My smokies at the start of the season were the Warriors, and I still stand by that. Would like to see a Warriors v Cowgirls GF just so it means it'll be a 1st premiership for someone

I actually dont mind the Broncos for once. I usually hate them but I respect what they have done with their young side.

No Sydney team gets a home finals match - all semi-finals are hosted by the "home city" now, rather than the home ground. You can thank the Dragons who refused to move their semi-final against the Eels in 2009 to a bigger ground.

Out of town teams - one city teams like Brisbane and Melbourne- still get their home ground advantage though.

Wow, that sucks. So no home finals at Shark Park ever again? That's pathetic.

correct, they are moved to bigger venues

it will be no issue if we ever get a home final against an out of town team, but if we play the tigers/dogs/roosters at anz or sfs, it will be horse ****

Yeah that truely is bull****. The NRL has been telling us how strong we are in the suburbs of Sydney or a GWS AFL team won't penetrate the rugby league heartland and then next they stop playing all the finals in suburban grounds! They don't care about the suburbs!
