look at the dogs last to 2nd in one off season alot of good buys.... its do able

Of course its do-able if you've got a war chest of money and somewhere to spend it. The player market was very lean this season - even if we had the funds the players weren't available.

Who was the biggest signing for 2010? Justin Poore, Dave Taylor, Todd Carney maybe? And only Poore's career looked to be going forward at the time.

I dunno what people expect. Just because Clubs 'buy' players doesn't mean there is a factory outlet just brimming with top class players.

everyone who is bitching and moaning saying "ooooh our squad looks terrible" what the f*ck did you expect a team that finished 15th to look like? A squad full of rep players?

Get real, we are in for a long season, but each win we get will be very cherished.

Nice work Hitman. I am happy with what Sticky has put together. Wait to you see what these blokes can do before you jump on them.

Look at the Storm. Who had heard of Slater, Smith or Inglis before they started playing. We have a number of young blokes and they have a lot of potential. Keep the faith.

that would surely have to be the youngest squad in the league by far. certainly shows what we are looking towards...

I agree totally. Whats more, you need to buy the type of player that you need. There is no point buying a 'name' player if you already have a good/adequate player in that position.

it is great that we have signed young players .... the thing i dont like is most of em are signed to 2yr contracts...... once they show what they can do clubs will poach em..... say kelly has a mortimer type year this year for us dont u think 15 clubs will want him for 2012.
if we have faith in youth then atleast 3 year deals otherwise we will loose way to many.

i just hope these young players arnt taking advantage of us due to the fact that our squad is thin in depth.
by getting a crack at first grade earlier than they would at another club my fear is they are using us as a stepping stone

Welcome to Emu Plains, please be sure to visit our
it is do-able if 1/4 of the broncos team moves south to the dogs

Stewart Mills is a tool, enough said about him

Elih Baille is a great bloke, played for my team half the season

The way I see it is that we need to have our Marketing and Media Departments tooled-up with the resources to do their job well.

can mills use photoshop? :fergo:

The lack of a ranger makes me upset. Looks like another year without a premiership
