They could be worse... but I would've preferred an all blue front with a white v and a black v next to each other, if they had to change it at all.

I don't mind it.

Sure, it could have been better (I prefer a few of the more retro ones) but I see what they're doing and it's simple and in keeping with our history.

It's good as an alternative jersey, but I really don’t want it to be our full time jersey.

Why oh why can’t we just keep our normal jersey. It's the best ever. You can’t improve on perfection. A little bit of tradtion goes a long way.

It took us about ten years to get it back after several abominations. now it looks like it's gone again.:(

Maybe it's Fisk that doesnt like it. It seems that we have had different jerseys whenever he has been with us.

How about we all wait to see the jersey in the flesh, sorry Nulla good attempt at demonstrating it but it doesnt give it justice, i mean its close at the top where the blue and black meet but bottom and sleeves etc totally different

Okay wait- wtf are those collars?!? I've got another jersey with them and they're worse than useless, they look plain stupid.

Kind of warming to the rest though. They're trying to re-image the club and the jersey is the most recognisable image anyone has of the place... I loved the one we've had for the last couple of years but this is a nice fresh, new look to go with a fresh, exciting young side. Good to see them using fergo in the advertising too, his talent's gonna make him very marketable as he gets older

Thanks for the pics too peach

Hi not able to give too much away but the picture you see on the brochure is the players elite version. The actual retail version will be slightly different in terms of material etc. The jersey as such has a different colar to what we have had in previous years.

Guys this jersey isnt given justice in pictures when you see it in the flesh make you judgement.

Yeah i think id prefer the 2nd alternate jersey for this year over that. But it still looks pretty good i guess.

Lozz,

How many jerseys this year?

We've got this one... we'll have the heritage one for the Heritage round and any other "special" occasions.

Is the 70's classic Hoop design going to be used at all?

What is the fate of the Black jersey?

I assume the new one is the "home' strip - what's the away?

Hi

We will have 3 jerseys for 2010, the black alternate strip is the same design but will feature the new cut of the jersey, the jersey featured in the brochure is our 'home' strip.

Basically the way jersey design goes there is like a 2-3 yr cycle on your home and away jersey design, everything has to be approved by the NRL and this is something that is literally months in the making. This design etc to be approved and go through the correct channels is not something that happens over night. This process started around May with it all to be signed off in like early July.

We will have as do many other teams our heritage jersey as our alternate strip, this hasn't changed from this years design.

Thanks Lozz,

It's fantastic to have the Club connecting with us fans like this and answering questions... we realize you're not going to be able to answer all questions ... and that is totally understood.

Great to see the official design posted here when you can.

You're doing a great job.

Three cheers for you!
