What an absolute disgrace! Where are all the Queensland stooges now? Someone tell me again how Darren Lockyer is the best player in the world, or what about the "brilliance" of Slater? He's the best fullback in the world, apparently. Willie Tonga, Lote Tuquiri, Brent Tate - this is Australia's best possible backline?

Someone tell these ****ing idiot redneck ****ing morons that they are playing for AUSTRALIA! It is more important than Origin, it is not some joke. Obviously, they don't have the intellectual capacity to understand this so someone just give them a ****ing maroon jersey to put on under the green and gold and tell them it's just like State of Origin but against New Zealand.

These ****ers should all be made to line up in front of Paul Gallen and Greg Bird, explain to them just why the hell they are ****ing around like retarded dugongs while Gal and Birdy are busting their *** and carrying the team.

The team of "reserves" that Australia fielded last week dispatched the sheep ****ers without blowing out a candle, now we get this ****.

Tate, I hope your career is finished. Lockyer, yours should be - at least in the green and gold. Play like that for Brisbane and Queensland all you want. Slater, you are a gutless genetic defect, **** off to Melbourne and die.

Apart from Bird and Gal, the only player who could hold their head up was Leroyd-Lars. Morris was OK. Shillington and Scott were ineffective, Snowden would have showed twice the heart and Dougy would have made twice the tackles of both of them combined.

What an embarassment. This is why I'm glad we don't have the money to sign dogs like Inglis.:rant

I agree with all accept the bolded part he was having a dig and I wouldn't wish that on any player even if it was inglis.

Don't know what game's you have been watching mate. In no way, not even tonight, did the Kiwis ever, EVER look like beating Australia. At times they looked like they might make a contest of it, AT BEST. Then the Aussies would simply switch back on and put a soft try on.

Tonight's game was no different. Even though the scoreline was closer, (due to the absolute ****house display from certain players) the Kiwi's never looked like they would win that game. It took a brain explosion from Slater, Tuquiri, Tonga and Lockyer to literally hand them the game. (And I mean literally, Lockyer may as well have passed that final ball to Fien for the try.)

Since you didn't see the game, I'll paint you a picture. Remember Slaters piece of "brilliance" that lost us the World Cup? This was worse.

fair enough, i will reserve judgement when i watch the game.
but i thought the kiwis played awesome against england, png doesnt count, and then came out last week trying to make football mma.

i also got told from a poster on this forum, that a certain nsw player dropped the ball on the half way line, giving the kiwis position for the first game.

but anyway, i said the kiwis looked better and would get us...:Yes::Yes::Yes::Yes::Yes::Yes:

Good for you but when, exactly, did they look better? When they were getting beat like it was a game of touch football last week? Seriously, they got belted by an Australian team that looked like they were having a training run.

I mean, they beat England! Really?!!? WOW! Even PNG gave England a run. They are crap. Australia beat them almost one-handed.

it was just the feeling i got from watching the games.
i watched every single game in the 4 nations 4-5 times, and i just thought that nz always seemed to be a step ahead.
maybe because they had their strongest side to pick from, and australia had a ton of injuries.

yes, they beat england, and i was very disappointed in the pommy performances.

and i have pointed out about last weeks game, once they stopped trying to fight everyone within arms reach, and played footy, they looked good again, pitty it was 34-10 when they had the wake up call.

I would have had Lawrence, Michael Gordon on the wing instead of Tuquiri.

Any one of those three highlighted would have been able to stop the final try scored by the Kiwis. Watch the replay, it's embarrassing.

By the way, just why isn't Inglis playing?

But it wasn't. At half time, after all the theatrics had finished, it was still close. Then Australia came out in the second half and dominated that game for twenty minutes, then switched off and had a rest. In that twenty minutes, the Kiwi's had reigned in the stupid play but they were simply outclassed. Australia butchered them mercilessly for that twenty minutes and they had absolutely no answer.

thats your take on it.
but in the 45th minute when adam blair tries to punch tll for a normal tackle, i would say the mma was still going.
no excuses though, kiwis outclassed in a game that didnt count

Whatever. I guess the Kiwi's are just better at Rugby League than Australia just like the Wallabies are better than the All Blacks 'cos they beat them in the last game they played.

Mate, I'm disgusted. The level of heart and effort shown by some of these so-called over the hill QLD "superstars" was a disgrace.
t

Sorry mate in your haste you left something out just thought I would fix it for you :)

Also forgot to add at least one of them had the balls to stand down when he realised they weren't up for it.

I don't blame Lockyer for the loss but I think it's becoming evident that there are better options. He's going to have to call it a day himself, because no-one is going to pay him the disrespect of sacking him.

I think NSW will win origin next year if they have him at 5/8.

Well i taped the game last night as i had to work. Didn't we get dominated! Where do i start with naming our players that shouldn't have been there? Iron has pretty much covered most of them. I have said all along Tonga should not have been in an Australian jersey from the start. Lockyer as good as he might have been just looked out of touch last night. His defence just wasn't up to it. Our forwards didn't realy have an impact against the Kiwi's except for TLL and Gallen. Thaiday is one player i don't like too much, but i must say, i gained a little more respect for him last night, he copped a few things last night that would normaly would have set him off, but he held himsef back and just played the game. Bird played the way i expected him to play, like a grub, got us penalties, but they weren't justified penalties. Slater had a shocker in the back half of the game, i would have rathered them pull him off and replace him with Gidley, but unfortunately with Tate gone, they were unable to do that. We just didn't have any one out there willing to go that extra yard last night, didn't look like we wanted it as much as the Kiwi's. We also gave away too many penalties.

The Kiwi's were impressive, Smith was awesome, played his guts out, hit hard in defense, and can't wait for him to play alongside Gallen, we are going to have one hell of a back row! They beat us around the ruck, too easy for them to grab metres, then Marshall came into his own. Gould went a bit over the top singing his praise, but he played well. They didn't really have any players that didn't have a go last night, they all played well, which i see the difference as to them winning and us losing, we had too many that didn't play well, they all played well. Better luck next time.
