Very enjoyable to watch, who was our 5/8?

Great to see big Stevo storm over the line, was Birdy playing lock?

Brett Stewart got his arse knocked out in the beginning of the game, great to watch!

I hate manly above all others, and that, was a wonderful day. At the time I was less chuffed by it at the time because they were sh*thouse at that stage, hasler was only just starting to turn them around, but looking back I enjoy it so so much.

Much as ppl get stuck into the bloke, Noddy had it on a string that afternoon. When he was on song his kicking game was as clever as anyone's. Same with that day we put plenty on Newcastle.

What a great day. Loved all of it. If our young outside backs come good there could be more days like that at Shark park in the next season or 2

Both went to the UK, Maiava to Hull and Leuluai to Salford, although Maiava is now back in Australia - last I heard he was playing for Windsor Wolves in the NSW Cup.

We had a penalty after the siren in that game and i was devastated they didn't take the two. Putting 70 on a team seems so much more than 68 for some reason.

Allot has happened to us in four years. Our team looks nothing like that now.

How good was Gals at the time of this game? Was he showing signs of major potential or was he already a legit star?

not legit star.but had potential.was never worried about seeing his name on the team list.

both him and birdman had the goods early-it was just a matter of time.

wierdo is the same in my books.if he can get over the knee and get some time on the paddock, he's going to be a really valuable player.

I was at that game and I remember one of the best one handed inside balls you will ever see after Kingstons break. I think it was Clifford Manua in his first game. I thought he was going to be anything but did nothing after that.
