And what gernation are you referring to. The term used was just 'old'. I wouldnt exactly call those in their 30's, 40's and 50's old people.

Mate, its just my opinon based on experiences in my own work place and dealings with the 18-25 bracket in various shops and business.
You dont have to agree but gen Y, whatever they are, I just dont think care enough or provide good enough customer service in those positions.

I have a friend that works in membership at another club and from what they have told me the ammount of **** they cop from members is bull ****.... When your team is doing well, the members are happy as larry, when something doesnt go right for the team, its the members that are the worst to deal with... Regardless of age, if you enjoy your job, then you will be a pleasure to deal with, if your treated like **** or run off your feet, i know me personally, couldnt give a **** about the person on the other end of the phone of in front of me!!!!

From what i read, we run on limited staff, we havent got bucket loads of money to spend, they run the best they can and well done to them..

I actually think customer service in Australia in general is garbage. So often I walk out of shops thinking "how does this person still have a job?"

like i understand that they might be really busy gettin the stuff out and the mid season sponsorship thing might be slowing things down and that but i didnt think it would be to much trouble to give me the code in a reply to the multiple emails,call or facebook messages ive sent. I have had to buy some merchandise from other stores as i didnt get the code in time for when i needed it and would have rather bought it from the sharks store and support the club more

rang up sharks hq yesterday and spoke to a very nice lady about it and got it all sorted should receive it soon and even got the code over the phone so i can buy a few jerseys etc :)
