Some lazy, high tackle attempts though. Still a work in progress but plenty of promise.

(Feel like I'm writing the greyhound form guide!)

Weapon tonight, cant believe he didn't drop a ball with those short pass in the line line runs like usual. our blokes had glue on their hands tonight outside of Talakai

Possibly his best game

Maybe 2024 is the season Teig really comes into his own - has always had massive potential but some handling and defensive issues have let him down in the past

He's finally been given a role in our attack after being relegated to a decoy runner for 1 1/2 seasons. Will be keen to see how he goes the next few weeks with Nikora out and more traffic being directed his way.

He has always had a role in attack it's just that he would drop the short hard ball half the time it was thrown to him. Has always had a habit of bagging a handful of trys each season

Everyone player runs decoys pretty much

Whoever replaces Nikora will be getting plenty of traffic sent their way regardless

Yeah I'm more worried about Bateman getting too many niggly shots in on Nicho without Brit there if I'm honest.

I'm expecting Burns to be named and as long as he gets through his work on defence and does his best Kevin Costner impression I'll be satisfied.

According to Tigers fans Bateman has been kinda useless but I'm not sure if that's just their constant salt and disappointment and if it goes back further than last weeks game for them.

Watching Bateman play last week made me think of this Viz Magazine t-shirt

Sounds like salt, tigs have spent big on backrowers last few years who have underperformed, could see how that annoys fans, they've got a decent crop of young forwards coming through.

Tiger fans would probably rather be getting minutes into them and using money elsewhere.

Apparently tonight was his first double.

I swear he’s scored a double a couple of times over the years 🤦‍♂️
