Monster. The carries off our line? Those who want him a forward should be happy. The offensive work? He can do both. Benching that to see how someone else goes was always silliness.

I wish I could like this post a thousand times.
Had a couple of misses in defense, but his overall work was simply outstanding. Set up a try and scored another. Took all the tough carries, sometimes twice in a set.
Hopefully he stays healthy this year and gets ignored by NSW selectors. We need him fit, focused and firing.

Agree with all above comments. He was the first to put his hand up to make the first hit up when were literally playing the ball on our try line.

Haven't even mentioned he did most of it with a busted ankle. The guy's a freak. His and Ronnie's combo is also looking very natural, they really clicked

Such different body shapes and sizes.

They'd make a great comedy duo.

Talakai playing the straight role.

Just blows me away that there’s so many people that don’t appreciate how good this dude is
It was origin I think. Fittler ****ed him. Prob did us a favour with his price dropping a bit.

Fittler had no clue how to use him, like the rest of the team, and they got exposed.

Same thing happened with Nicho at centre. But you can’t hate Nicho or you’ll get strapped to a horse and sent out of town.

But yeah, I think after that, especially with his edge leaking like @HaroldBishop in week 3 of the finals, it’s easy to think he’s the problem.

I hope it wasn’t any of you, but someone said Morgan Harper could fill his spot no worries. I said Morgan Harper wouldn’t make the team because he’d be crippled every time he brought it out of our 20m

Executes that draw and pass to Ronnie so calmly and silky with perfect timing - nails it nearly every time

Plenty of Sharks centres in the past butcher those moments

And if Ronnie isn't open he can just barge over himself but he always look to his winger first, very unselfish player. What a nightmare to defend against close to your line with attacking players in motion.

They can’t not come in on him either, that close he runs over his opposite number 9 times out of 10 so winger has to come in to help, opening up Ronnie even with a narrow corridor

Our next 4 games are against weaker opposition , it Sifa's ankle is damaged , do we think it could be a GREAT opportunity to rest him , get it back to 100% and blood Iro ?

There is your mistake
Don’t underestimate ANY side.

if he can play, he plays, if not, then we look to next man up (assuming that is Iro or Hiroti)

Sorry , about my wording ( weaker opposition ) yes no team can be taken for granted .
AGREE
Was more thinking of a Win/Win situation .
Rather than Sifa carrying a niggling injury week after week and perhaps aggravating it , give him time off now early in season to get back to 100% .
This would give Iro some valuable 1st grade experience , blooding him now , which could benefit later rather than against say Penrith , Rooster, Broncos etc , first time up .

Hiroti might still be ahead of Iro in the pecking order, even for centre and I can't say he hasn't earned it on his most recent FG performances

Coaching staff won't risk Sifa if there's a chance of making an injury more serious, not this early in the season so I don't think we need to worry about what may or may not happen with him.

I think he's fine though and will play next week, players always have niggles and are carrying some degree of injury or body complaint. It's a brutal sport
